We decided on the AquaStop Basement Triple Sump Pump fitted to the existing drain tile. With a deposit on the day of inspection, we were also able to finance the remainder of the cost, which helps us get through tax time. "The installation went very well, I am happy with the quality and design of the install. I had received quotes from a few other companies to install straps or I-beams, but Russ took the time to explain exactly what was needed. He wanted to install more straps than the competitor, but ironically it was at a better price. After researching carbon fiber strap installations, I found that his design would work the best (competitor wanted to use far fewer straps, but it would've resulted in 5-6' spacing, and 4' is recommended max). Precision was also very good about moving junk out of the way, since both walls had shelves that needed to be removed, etc. One thing I will say about Precision... I think they are very knowledgeable and good at what they do, but they don't have the a large operation like some of their competitors. That means, they don't have the additional staff manning the phones, scheduling, etc. So the company can keep their overhead low and offer very good prices, but on the other hand it can be difficult to reach them sometimes. Overall, I'm very happy with the installation, and will likely hire Precision Foundation Systems to do a bigger job very soon (helical pier install)."

"Greg, the owner, came out on two occasions to discuss the crawl space and drain tile. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the crawl space industry. We had a few options and he told me about the new spray product he was using. It is this unique seamless liner that is sprayed on after preparing and insulating the area.
His crew was very professional and easy to talk to. We had some scheduling conflicts that were easy to work around and get the job done when we needed it to be finished.
The difference we noticed in the smell in our basement, the effect the insulation and seamless lining had on the air conditioning in our family room (which is above the crawl space) was immediate. We feel cooler air coming through the duct work since it isn't losing energy traveling through a non insulated space anymore and they basement smells and feels normal since the dirt and concrete is now completely covered by the new liner.
That new product is great.
Greg's company also did drain tile work in our basement. It was a different crew than the group who did the crawl space, but they were equally as professional and easy to work with. Rather than break up the job into 3-4 days they stayed late the first day to get everything ready and prepared so they could complete the job quicker. The job was done the next day. The price was very fair and the crew was extremely clean throughout thew whole process.
We now have a water tight, well insulated basement and we couldn't be happier with the results.

"Dave Brown and his son came out and gave us a fair estimate for waterproofing part of our basement for water in the pump and watersoftener area. Upon further investigation while having the water tank and softner system moved, realized we had a leak coming in from behind the tank due to a cracked pipe outside. Actually Dave was happy for us, as it would cost us less. I found him to be extremely fair, honest and helpful. If we should need his services in the future .... I would not hesitate to have him do the work!"
