After Jim left and started King Green, after the no complete clause time window, I switched to Jim. Guess what, A+++ HONEST TRUSTED SERVICE. Never sold anything never needed!!! Clover lawns stand up better against dog and cat urine than traditional turfgrass. If your pets love to hang out on the lawn on a sunny day—or if you find yourself with a lot of visiting neighborhood dogs—you could save yourself from yellow and brown patches by making the switch to a clover lawn.

Whether you're manually watering your lawn with a hose or using an irrigation system, it's always best to water the grass in the morning. It may not seem like it makes a difference, but nighttime is colder and winds are likely to be stronger. Strong winds will push the water droplets away from the grass, and the temperature will be too low for the water to evaporate, and thus get absorbed by the soil. However, watering the lawn during peak afternoon sun does the opposite, and the water evaporates too quickly.

Both zoysia grass and bermuda grass are somewhat similar to St. Augustine because they’re all warm-season grasses. Beyond that, most grass types have unique properties that set them apart. Zoysia grass costs twice the price of St. Augustine grass on average and it has thinner blades and a deeper green appearance. Bermuda grass, compared to St. Augustine, has much thinner blades, is softer to the touch, and has a higher tolerance for colder weather.

In general, cool-season grasses such as fescue grass, ryegrass, and Kentucky bluegrass are best for creating a striped lawn. Warm-season grasses like bermuda and zoysia grass don't curl as much, so grass stripes aren't as easy to see. If you live in a climate that’s better suited for warm-season grass, zoysia grass will typically be your best option.
