"Larry was prompt in replying to my request for handyman services and came to my home to make a bid within a couple of days. Dee works with Larry, and she spent several hours doing miscellaneous services such as removing old caulk, putting in new caulk in different locations, taking down a blind, rehanging a new blind, muddying a bathroom ceiling and part of a family room ceiling, then came back out after a few days of curing and painted. Very satisfied with their services and will be asking them to do an exterior project when we get back in town. Highly recommend!!"

"Did an excellent job, second time we’ve used him. Did everything I wanted and more. Cut down a maple, trimmed a huge beech tree threatening my house. Cut and stacked the wood. Raked the yard even in 3 inches of snow. As an added bonus cut down 4 dead limbs over my driveway. Entire crew of 4 were very polite. A llano fell and cracked my septic cover. Owner took it upon himself to drive 25 miles each way to buy new cover, even though I told him that cracked tank cover was no big deal. Would definitely use them again!"

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Leaving the tree stump and letting it rot is never a good idea, as this leads to insect infestations and other frustrations. Additionally, decomposing trunks are at risk for diseases that spread out to the remaining plants and trees in the yard, thus ruining your whole outdoor aesthetic. It's usually best to remove the stump at the same time you remove the tree.

The safest way to cut down a tree is to make sure you’re completely prepared and have done all the necessary safety checks, including double-checking your equipment is in good working order, you have plenty of clearance to fell the tree, you’re wearing all the safety gear, and you have a partner to help you (who should also be wearing safety gear). 

A general rule is that trees need 10 gallons of water for each inch of the tree’s diameter. For large trees, that can amount to approximately 160 gallons of water or more. Watering big trees to this extent can take quite a bit of time using a hose. For this reason, you may consider installing a soaker hose or sprinkler system to make the job easier.
