My husband and I had a large barn taken down and wanted to repurpose the wood from it so we came up with the idea of custom building Sliding Barn Doors from this vintage wood that is over 100 years old. Some of these boards have nail holes some with farm animal dings or chews and some don't have any it depends on the barn we get the boards from although I will make sure there are no see through holes if you are requesting a privacy door for instance for a bathroom or bedroom. We have been doing this for only a few years now but with both of us being retired we enjoy keeping ourselves busy creating products for people who are searching for certain items. Since we began this we have also built custom Interior Doors, Dutch Doors, Cabinet Doors, Horizontal Sliding Doors, Headboards and Floating Shelves.
