We are available after hours and weekends for emergencies and appointments. We are a family owned and operated company since 1999 serving Michigan. We handle all wildlife issues including repairing damage they cause.

"For the last two months I have been hearing faint clicking or scratching sounds coming from an area near a ceiling light in the living room. I called and scheduled an inspection. I was told that the price for the inspection would be $185. Even though the noise had stopped a week or so before the scheduled inspection, I decided to go ahead with the inspection, thinking that whatever was making the noise would probably come back. Aaron arrived on time. He listened to a recording that I had made of the scratching sound, and he said he thought a rodent might have nested itself in the attic. He then walked around the exterior of the house, looking for areas where a rodent might enter. He also walked on the roof and looked up through the hatch of the attic. The inspection took around 15 minutes. He found one possible entry point on the side of the house and sealed it with material that matched the appearance of the surrounding siding. He asked if I wanted him to set traps near the attic hatch, but I declined since the noise had stopped and the hatch was 25 feet away from the source of the noise. The day after the inspection, the scratching sounds returned. I think I need to find someone who will go into the attic area in order to find the source of the noise."

I'm a first time home owner and called Daleys because they sealed up the house for bats (prior to me purchasing it) and I thought well he'll be familiar with it. I had something (squirrel) chew through my basement ceiling. Took Trevor days to come evaluate the situation, first trap was dragged away in 24 hours the other sat on my rood for months without even being snapped closed. No single deterrent will work 100 percent of the time, so we suggest combining deterrents to ensure your seed has the best possible chance to grow. Using bird netting over your seed, with physical deterrents like mylar tape coupled with hanging bird feeders at the edges of your growing area—and removing any bird’s nests, if possible—will give your seeds the best possible chance for success.

DIY animal removal is rarely a good idea and is not advised for many reasons. First, these types of animals can carry diseases and, therefore, pose a health risk to you, your family, and your pets if mishandled. Second, depending on your city or municipality, it may be illegal to remove or handle wildlife yourself. 

Sealing your home against these animals yourself is also a bad idea. Trapping an animal under your house will cause odor and insect problems when it passes away. 

Certain smells do repel bats, though this isn’t a foolproof method. Try applying essential oil sprays like mint, eucalyptus, cinnamon, or peppermint to possible entry points and throughout the attic. Mix together two cups of warm water with a half cup of sugar and a few drops of your preferred essential oil. Put this mixture in a spray bottle and go to town.

Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders. If woodpeckers seem drawn to one particular part of your home’s siding, it might be worth hiring a termite inspector to check for the presence of these pesky critters.
