EB Companies

The project was not an easy one. Our screen porch screens had to be replaced in place. They could not be removed. This was a small project, but EB was willing to do it. Big companies will not touch a small job like this one. EB had to come back to make some adjustments, but they made sure everything was correct. We are pleased with the work and appreciated them wanting to make sure everything was done well.

Project went smoothly...Troy was super easy to work with, used my designs and the people that came in to do the work were professionals, neat and clean. There were several components and parts to this project and the scheduling worked out well, I was always knowing when someone and who would be coming to do which task. Even with a glitch, we were able work around schedules to get the job completed in a timely manner. I was never left without a basic functioning kitchen for more than 24 hours, which was a great help with making this project stress free.

Extremely easy to work with~I had spoken to 4 different remodeling companies, and this is the only one that got back to me with a detailed quote on exactly what they would do with a break down of the charges. Started the job on the day as planned, were able to work with me and around a couple of issues that were not anticipated. Finished the job as planned in 3 weeks.

Called Troy from EB Companies to get an estimate on fixing my roof. He came out when he said he would and gave me a timely estimate. When I gave the go ahead he gave me an approximate time line when they could fix it and they came out on time and finished the roof in one day. Troy was nice to deal with and did what he said he would do. I would recommend them to my neighbors. They did a great job and cleaned up after the job was done.

I was hard to know how to write this up, because we haven't yet actually USED this contractor, but we were very impressed with the professionalism, and promptness with which they came out, talked to us and gave us a very reasonable estimate.  We decided to wait until this summer to have the work done, but will definitely call  EB Companies because we were so impressed.

They stated up front that they provided quality service, so they were not going to be cheap. I said I wanted quality. here's the quality I got. After they installed the RO filter I saw the RO membrane cartridge lying around, so I asked them about it. They said that was a spare, and that the chamber came with a cartridge installed. This was a lie. I discovered this later, when during a routine cleaning service, I found that the chamber was empty. That was when I installed the cartridge. Kitchen sink-- about a year after installation, the drain came apart. I found that the threads in the large fastening nut under the drain basket had been stripped, and they hadn't even installed the gasket properly. This was at 11:00 p.m. on the evening before a party, so I went to the nearby Meijer (24h store), purchased the drain basket assembly and putty, and assembled it myself. I'd never done it before, so it took me three hours. But it's still going strong, after six years, while theirs had come apart in one. The pipes they had attached, i.e., the P-trap and other parts, were also cut too short, so every so often I have to go push them in, otherwise they drip into the area under the sink. I have a moisture sensor installed there now.

It went fine.   We were in a bind in that the man painting the house found issues with the window frames and water destroyed boards.   Our painter had no suggestions of who to hire so we contacted EB Handyman as they had good ratings on your site.
You do have to wait a bit as they are booked, d but they got it done in a timely fashion so our painter was able to finish the painting before the cold weather.   Our painter was pleased with the job they did.

Went well

The scope of work was cabinet install, range hood install, addition of a few canister lights, and some carpentry to create a kitchen island.. Mike and Mike were detail oriented and did a nice job overall. The range hood install was challenging and it looks great. I'd definitely recommend them to others.

They did an excellent job; cleaning and removing debris from the gutters and roof valleys. They also made sure that the landscaping was clean and free of debris.

The work has always been just fine.
