"Steve arrived on time. He was unable to find the dead critter in question, but inspected my home and closed up a few suspected points of entry. He was very accommodating and professional. I would recommend him to anyone needing critter control."

"I had originally contacted Birds and Bats service, but they were too expensive, did nothing to help. I moved on to Michigan Animal Control and they are amazing, have good information and service. I hired them and they will help me with getting rid of bats and any other animal issues."

"We had a significant wasp and hornet problem and Pest Control Solutions was able to come out the same day I called! The tech, Tyler, did a fantastic job of eliminating all of the nests in some extremely difficult to reach areas. He also sprayed and removed a large bald faced hornet nest that had taken up residence on our gutter. Not only did he take care of those issues, he also knocked down many of the cobwebs and sprayed around the foundation for ants and spiders. Tyler was very professional and friendly and I won't hesitate to have him snd his company take care of our pest problems in the future."

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

Unless foxes are a major threat or nuisance, living peacefully alongside them is often better. Reclusive foxes are rarely a risk to humans, and they can help keep rodent populations at bay and boost biodiversity in your yard. Plus, if you are a wildlife lover, there is the simple privilege and pleasure of watching a fox family interact right on your doorstep.

Skunks like to forage for grubs in the soil, like worms and insects, but they are also tempted by trash and pet food bowls, so keeping these items out of sight may help keep skunks away. Skunks also like to set up a den in dark places, such as a crawl space or outbuilding.

The nine-banded armadillo is common in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and Mississippi. Their range has expanded over the years, and they now live as far north as Missouri, Kansas, and even southern parts of Nebraska.

Homemade raccoon repellents can be a cost-effective and humane method for keeping raccoons off your property. Raccoons despise the smell of vinegar, so keeping a bowl of it near your home can keep them away. Some wildlife companies advise using cayenne pepper or hot sauce sprinkled near your deck or porch as another homemade option.

This varies based on the circumstance. Chemical-based pest control baits and poisons are usually the most potent, but they are unsafe to use around children and pets, so they won’t be a fit for every household.

Safer alternatives, such as boric acid and food-grade diatomaceous earth, can work as well, though they should still stay out of reach. Aside from that, the best thing any DIY-er can do is make their place uninviting by sealing off entry points, eliminating clutter, and maintaining a clean home.
