"We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"

Sean arrived right on time in the morning and he did a great job in repairing the drywall. He was also very professional and courteous while doing the work. "We recently had several areas of our home painted by Nelson's Painting who was recommended to us by a local friend. To get the process started, Jon Nelson personally visited our home and conducted a detailed assessment of the areas to be painted and also examined the rest of the house for future work. He very promptly provided us with an estimate for the first phase as well as the future work. He worked closely with us to carefully choose the specific brand and colors of paint. The highly professional work his team conducted included patching and sanding in preparation, followed by the application of the appropriate layers of different tones of paint for the walls and ceilings. At the end of each workday, the crew cleaned up and stored their gear, and when the job was complete, they left the work area cleaner and much more orderly than when they began. They were professional, polite, worked carefully, and made friends with our large dog Ruffio. We are looking forward to their return to paint the rest of our home in the near future."

The painter bought the supplies and we reimbursed him - believe that was about $1000. The painted understood that we were converting this house to a rental. He had good advise about what to paint, and what wasn't necessary. He seemed very committed to doing a good job and having the finished project one he was proud of."

"I had a tricky wallpaper repair as it is grasscloth and bubbling up from the wall in several spots. Dave got marinade injectors and made multiple horizontal cuts in the lifted paper. He then injected the paste and smoothed it to where he wanted it. It took time, but it is completely fixed and you can't find the bubbling anymore! I am so thankful this eyesore is finally fixed. I have been trying to get it done for 2 years."
