"We are completely satisfied with the work Randy Palgen did for us, installing two very high ceiling fans, repairing our kitchen cabinets, solving both an electrical and a plumbing problem, and repairing and caulking the window trim On the outside of our house. "We had been searching for someone to wash, sand and restain the exterior of our log home for over a year. I found Chris when he responded to my posting on Home Advisor. He came and evaluated the project, was prompt to submit an estimate, and scheduled for only 2 weeks out. He and his crew arrived on time ( actually early) and got right to work. They were professional, attentive to detail, and exacting in their work. Our house looks like it got a face lift! They have a niche business in restoring log homes for sure! We have already scheduled him to wash our deck and pole barn. We cannot stress how pleased we are with Chris and his crew's work!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Franz and Robert showed up when promised. I originally hired them for yard work, but, was so impressed by their professionalism, that I hired them to fix a closet door, hang a louvered door in the bathroom and power wash my house! They went above and beyond what was expected of them and their price was very reasonable.. The next time I need a Handy Man, PLC is who I will call! Sarah B. South Bend"

The quickest way you can protect plants and trees from frost is to cover them with garden blankets or frost cloths. Also, bringing potted plants or trees indoors is much simpler than trying to cover and protect them outdoors. Remember to anchor blankets with something such as sandbags, fabric pins, or rocks if the forecast calls for strong winds to keep them from blowing away and exposing your trees and plants.

Yes, with proper heating or cooling systems and energy-efficient glazing.

Sustainable materials and energy-efficient designs support greener construction options.

Painting countertops can take a few days to complete yourself. However, keep in mind that it can take up to 14 days for the sealer to cure. So, you want to make sure you wait the manufacturer's recommended amount of time before using your countertops after painting them.

Don’t forget to factor in the climate where you live during the planning stage. If your area is prone to bitter cold and heavy snow, you might want to invest in stronger greenhouse materials like a concrete slab, steel frame, and glass walls or plan to take your greenhouse down for the winter.
