"Did a great job! Nathan and Jacob caught and picked up a raccoon on my property. While they were there a bird got stuck in my pellet stove, and they were able to get it out safely."

"I highly recommend Apex Xclusions for whatever sort of pest problem situation you might have. Over last winter, at least two squirrels took up residence in my attic and I didnâ t know what kind of damage they might cause so I asked for estimates from several companies and I am so glad that I chose this company to do the work They came out in March and thoroughly, examined my attic and house and provided the exclusion trap which allowed the squirrels to leave my attic but not be able to return back inside. Within two days there was no more squirrel activity in the attic. They also did repairs around my house to the brick, etc. Closing up any openings where mice etc.could get in. While doing the work here, they detected raccoon tracks, leading from my fence and going under my deck. They proposed a possible solution to this situation, and this month, June they came back to do the followup work from the first job and talk in depth about ways to prevent small animals from getting under the deck. They returned to do the work, and removed the lattice off of the bottom of the deck, and remove the screening that had been put in by the original deck builder. They replaced the old screening with newer better screening, which also included screening that was dug a foot down into the ground and curved forward away from the deck, so that a pest encountering what they thought was the edge of the deck and then trying to dig under it would not be able to do so. They had noticed that the boards that held the lattice to the deck, had not been the Trex material that was used for the the rest of the deck. That wood material had been secured with the wrong kind of hardware also and the gap between the wood and the Trex material, allowed the accumulation of seed pods, and other debris. There were two places on the corners where the wood head swelled and contracted, which resulted in some warpage to a couple of boards on the deck. For this job, Apex Xclusions used the right material and hardware to finish securing it to put the lattice work back on the bottom part of the deck. They were so kind as to even answer questions for a neighbor, and another person that happened by and saw them working, and wanted to look at what they were doing and ask some questions. They talked to me and explained things as they went along, and each of the two days they were here for this project they cleaned up everything and took that material away with them. I was here each of the days they were working, and there was no sandbagging, and no lollygagging! The Apex crew proved to be very industrious, working the entire time they were here. When, considering what company to choose, my decision was based on the knowledge about what and where the problem was. They showed me photos of what was going on and what they talked about in terms of the way to solve these pest problems. I will also add that their bid was in the middle of the prices quoted. I would not hesitate to have them work here again as this experience has shown them to be a quality company. Sent from AT&T Yahoo Mail for iPhone"

"I contacted Jason by phone. After viewing good reccomendations on Angie's List and getting recommendations from other pest control companies that don't do trapping. Jason was polite and professional. He gave me a two hour window of when he would come to the house. He was there right on time. He set up two traps and spent a good deal of time explaining a lot about skunks. Most importantly how to avoid attracting them in the future.  The first night we caught a opossum. We called Jason and he came and released him for no additional charge. He moved one of the traps where there were fresh markings. By the next night we had our stinky visitor.  I once again called Jason, we agreed on a time for him to come over. He had the skunk removed before he even knocked on the door. I have to say I hope we never have another resident skunk but if we do Accurate Wildlife Eviction would be the company I would call."

"This was our second time working with Steve from Pest EZ for pest control (the first time was our yellow jacket infestation two years ago) and we can't say enough good things. He is extremely thorough, explanatory, and overall great to work with. He helped us identify where the mice were coming from, set out poison traps, and he even managed to catch a rogue mouse. We feel so confident working with him and Pest EZ that we recommend their service to anyone and everyone. Thank you Steve and Pest EZ!!!!!!"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

It is possible, though unlikely, that a home insurance policy will help cover the costs of professional bat removal. However, some policies will chip in for guano removal and associated repairs, such as replacing drywall. Take some time to read the fine print of your homeowner’s insurance policy and call your provider to inquire about bat removal, guano removal, and related repairs.

Yes, many services include cleanup and sanitization to remove droppings and odors. Confirm with your provider.

Professional pest control services for birds and bats prevent property damage, preserve health standards by avoiding the buildup of droppings, and ensure humane removal and prevention techniques.

They can have a deterrent effect on birds to some extent. The reflective surfaces of these objects, such as aluminum foil strips, CDs, or reflective tape, create flashes of light and movement that can startle or confuse birds temporarily. However, some birds can become accustomed to these visual disturbances over time and might adapt their behavior accordingly. For a more sustained solution, combining shiny objects with other deterrent methods shared here is often beneficial for creating a more comprehensive and effective strategy for bird control.

Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders. If woodpeckers seem drawn to one particular part of your home’s siding, it might be worth hiring a termite inspector to check for the presence of these pesky critters.
