We have used Steve & Elmer’s for about 10 years to manage our sprinkler system. Their customer service is responsive. They have always made sure all of our nozzles are operational including spray volume, spray distance, and spray area. They have replaced or repaired any components, including updated program controller and wireless rain sensors. Their pricing is the best.

We have used Steve & Elmer’s for about 10 years to manage our sprinkler system. They are prompt, return phone calls diligently, and check all systems and irrigation nozzles and replace or repair as needed. . They have installed updated controllers and wireless rain sensors for us. All with pricing better than other sprinkler companies.

At first, it seemed fine. When the technician left, the zone was functioning. But this was short-lived. After one watering, the zone stopped working again. I called to ask them to come back out and fix it right. The conversation began amicably but quickly turned dismissive. I was informed that they wouldn't be able to come out for two weeks because they are "so busy". I told them that this was unacceptable because I'd already paid them for work that failed almost immediately. They told me the best they could do was put me on their cancellation list and hope someone cancels. I then told them we could not wait two weeks and would have to find someone else to fix the problem: their response was simply, "OK". I now have to pay someone else to come fix their mess, even though I've already paid them. Update: After I posted reviews on Yelp and Facebook, the company became extremely confrontational. I have asked for a refund for labor (we even offered to still pay for the parts), but the company refuses to respond. I have taken screen shots of their replies and will post them here if the company deletes them.

We have been using Steve & Elmers's Sprinkler Service for about 4 years to open & winterize our sprinkler system at our home. They came to start up our sprinklers ($65.00), but found we needed some repairs. We anticipated some problems since we did not use the system last year. They told me what the problems were, walked me through each zone to show me the problems, and stated what the costs would be. Replacement parts were $20 for 10 fittings & clamps, $60 for 2 rotors, $36 for mistheads, $18 for a hunter mist (I believe that was it), and then $120 for 1.5 hrs labor at $80 per hour. The total was $319.00. They did the work neatly and efficiently. They called 3 days before (appt. was scheduled for Monday so they called Friday) scheduled day with a choice of window of times. They called the morning of appointment to state when they would arrive. This is the only sprinkler company we have used, but when I have compared price of services with others they seem to be inline with other companies. They have always been prompt, polite, and answer all my questions and/or concerns. One year they came back out (very promptly after my call) for a leak that had developed and fixed & replaced parts at no charge.
