"Mark and his crew gave excellent communication throughout our entire master bath remodel. They finished ahead of schedule and even a little under the price we were quoted. The bathroom turned out amazing, and now it is one of our favorite rooms in the house instead of our least :) We definitely recommend this company for any of your remodeling projects."

Customers say: True professional

"Steve has installed a 2 foot and 4 foot grab bars in our bathtub for safety reasons. Steve has removed and installed 2 new toilets in our bathrooms thereby saving us lots of water and $$. Steve picked up, delivered and installed 8 13-foot 2X6 on our deck that were rotting. Steve has also given me a very fair quote to remove our bathtub, fixtures, tiles surrounding our bathtub, old linoleum and subfloor. We hope to get a very basic surround shower, new fixtures, new linoleum and subfloor. This should make our bathroom a lot safer. If you have any questions about Steve, please give me a call or text me Paul @616-292-5220."

"We are extremely satisfied with our tub to walk-in shower conversion. The project proceeded just as we were told it would. Tyler and Kyle arrived on time each day. They were so pleasant and professional. They cleaned up at the end of each day. We were kept informed as to the progress at the end of every day. When the project was completed, we were so impressed and pleased with how clean our bathrooms were. There was no evidence of any construction debris. We recommend Re-Bath without hesitation."

"Since we moved into our home, we had a kitchen remodel on our mind. We were excited to have found Brad Pipe Remodeling to make this remodel/update a reality. They helped us manage the demo, product selection and install in a timely manner (despite some unforeseen back orders). They were thoughtful to our family needs throughout the remodel. I would recommend contacting them to review your potential remodel. We are very happy with the final outcome."

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.
