"I was referred by the hardware store Pro Program for Master Electrician to do some projects we needed accomplished. Skeptical at first; Then, I received a call about 15 minutes later after submitting my proposed project. John, the Master Electrician with Calvary Electric with over 20+ years of experience, said to me, I am extremely busy but I promise, I will work you in within the week. Only two days later, he shows up and is ready to install (2) ceiling fans, switches, run additional electrical lines, etc. John broke everything down, step-by-step for us, what our options are and the exact price it would take to get the projects completed. Then, he noticed I was wearing a Marine Combat-Wounded cover. He said, you are a Vet I see, that is an automatic 10% off I told him he did not need to do that and he said, When I do a job, I look for discounts for the people that request my services, it is the least I can do. I was shocked. We talked a little more and my wife, Rachel and I, made a decision and John got right to work. During the install, he gave continuous updates on where he was and what he was doing. After the project was completed, we did a walk through together (John, Rachel, and Myself) and we were shocked at how outstanding it turned out! He showed us both fan features, how he changed the switches around, so it would be easier for us to control. Then, Joh cleaned up the work areas he had been in. It was cleaner after John left than it was before he arrived. He shook both of our hands, thanked me for my Service, and told us if you have any issues, any at all, contact me immediately and handed me his business card. In summation, I have been around the world while in the Marines. Met, talked and worked with a lot of different and very passionate people, who love their professions. John loves what he does and has that passion to do the very best job he can do, for his customers. John, hands down, is the VERY BEST at what he does, period. My father was in construction for over 30+ years as a General Contractor. So, I have also worked and talked with the civilian side of the Contracting world. Again, you will not find a better Master Electrician than John. I am not into writing things up for people like this however, I wanted people to know that there is a true value, spirit, and faith out there; and it shows in his quality of work and his candor towards his customers. "The owner was 15 minutes early every day. He and his associate were organized and very neat. They also cleaned up after themselves when they were done. There was an oversight during the estimate phase however he didn’t charge me for all of the extra costs associated with the over site. He was receptive to suggestions and added new projects for the appropriate cost of course. I had another contractor bid on my project. His estimate was $20,000. At the conclusion of my project it will cost about $8,000. I have been very happy with this company and would hire him again!"
