"Heather is by far the most professional and friendly cleaner I have ever hired. She made herself available last minute and returned my phone call right away. She went above and beyond and was very thorough, and did an immaculate job. I have hired her more than once and she is very trustworthy and reliable. I would highly recommend her to anyone."

"The work performed was done fairly well, but the process took much longer than promised. Communication from the company personnel was terrible. I had to constantly ask what was going on. At the end, there was one fairly small item that was not done. I was promised that this item would be taken care of within the next week. After a month, that promise was not kept and any communication to the company was not responded to. I reached out multiple times. I cannot recommend this company to anyone."

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

It is advisable to have stone countertops inspected every few years, especially if damage is noticed. Regular maintenance and inspection help catch and resolve issues early, extending the countertops' lifespan.

The answer to this question depends on how large the room is and how much experience you have stripping and waxing floors. It will take at least 24 hours to strip the floors, then you must allow time for drying, waxing, waiting for them to cure, and, finally, buffing them. Since you likely will not be working for the full 24 hours, it is safe to say that this is a two- or three-day job.

While quartz is highly stain-resistant, it is not completely stain-proof. Spills, including water, should be wiped up as soon as possible to prevent staining. Minor stains are usually not permanent and can be removed using a quartz-safe cleaner, a simple mixture of dish soap and water, or a baking soda paste applied with a soft microfiber cloth. For severe stains that persist, professional treatment may be necessary, and in rare cases, countertop repair or replacement might be required.

Use a pH-balanced cleaner, avoid abrasive materials, and reseal porous stones like granite annually to maintain durability.

The cost to polish floors averages around $200 per room, but you could pay anywhere from $100 to $300. Some factors that influence the total cost of floor polishing include the following:

  • Square footage of flooring

  • Type of floor

  • Whether you need floor repairs done beforehand

  • Whether or not you want professional floor cleaning done beforehand

Since square footage is the most significant cost factor, you might get a more accurate estimate by using the average cost per square foot for floor polishing, which is between $1.00 and $2.50.
