"Prompt response… very professional! I have been without a sink for two weeks, called a few companies and no follow up.. Tejadas was able to fit me in right away.. they were at my home on time and did a great job cutting my granite countertop and positioned my sink to get installed by the plumber… I would definitely hire them again for any future jobs"

"We contacted Richard regarding the job, and had a quote back within the week - good quote.  He quickly responded to any questions  we had, and scheduled the work.  They completed the demo in one day, a few days before the cabinets showed up - if I had to do this again, I would hold off on the demolition until the cabinets were in, as it is difficult to live without a kitchen, especially with children.  It took approximately two weeks for the kitchen to be completed, with slight delays due to a damaged cabinet, time for the new countertops to set, appliance delivery, etc.  One hitch developed when the dishwasher was hooked up incorrectly, and water ran into my basement - I called Richard, and once I got through the answering service, he contacted the plumber, and we resolved the problem immediately over the phone, and the plumber was at my house at 8 the next morning ( a Saturday of a holiday weekend) to permanently fix the problem.  At the end of the two weeks, we had a great new kitchen, well installed, and we were thrilled!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

You will encounter several types of licensed professionals handling plumbing in ME. Master plumbers oversee full system designs and complex repairs, while journeymen and apprentices execute tasks under their supervision. For rural properties, specialized installers handle private septic systems and well pumps. Finally, local utility workers maintain and repair connections to the municipal water and sewer infrastructure. Always hire certified specialists for your safety.

Helpful?

Start by verifying all local permit requirements and confirming your contractor holds an active license before beginning plumbing in Milo. Schedule major exterior work outside of the freezing winter and muddy spring seasons. Determine whether your property relies on municipal utilities, a private well, or a septic system to guide the project scope. Coordinate mandatory inspections early to prevent unnecessary delays.

Helpful?

A major mistake homeowners make during plumbing in ME involves skipping mandatory permits or hiring unlicensed individuals. Many people also underestimate the extreme freeze protection required for exposed pipes. Additionally, adding new bathrooms without verifying your existing septic capacity leads to severe system failures. Always locate existing underground lines before excavating to avoid damaging critical water and sewer infrastructure.

Helpful?

After finishing plumbing in Milo, secure your final inspection sign-off and keep the paperwork for your property records. Test your well water quality through a certified laboratory. Winterize all new exterior pipes before October temperatures drop to prevent freezing. Update your septic system records if you added fixtures. Finally, monitor the fresh connections closely throughout the first freeze-thaw cycle.

Helpful?

Delaying plumbing repairs in Milo exposes your home to severe hazards. Unheated pipes easily freeze and burst during harsh winters, causing extensive water damage. Furthermore, seasonal ground movement worsens underground cracks, turning minor leaks into full line replacements. Postponing fixes also risks well contamination during spring snowmelt and promotes hidden mold growth inside older walls. Address issues promptly to keep your property safe.
