We waited a year for this company to actually come out and attempt to repair the crack. They squirted some material in the crack, which came out within 2 months. We notified our contractor again, and he told us this company would be out the following week. It's been several months now, and we have had no response from this company or any action taken to repair. The original job was obviously not done correctly, and they do not stand behind their work."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/me/hebron/tk-and-sons-concrete-foundations-inc-reviews-4853793.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"G R PORTER & SONS INC","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"ME","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Roger C."},"reviewBody":"After having been grocery shopping, with refrigerated and frozen food in the vehicle, I was traveling down the interstate towards home. Just after getting onto the interstate, I heard something metal clanging on the pavement. I wasn't sure if it came from my vehicle or from road debris. I soon got the answer to that question as the battery and temperature gauges began showing abnormal readings. The temperature was rising so fast, I stopped the vehicle to prevent any damage from the overheating. Luckily, I had a towing package that came with my cell phone. I called them and they came to pick me up. They delivered the vehicle to Porter's that evening, a Wednesday, after business hours. The next morning on Thursday, I went to Porter's and explained to the owner (Frank Porter) that the vehicle was mine. I asked him if he would give me an estimate. He said he had a lot of work to do, but should be able to give me an estimate by Friday or Saturday of that week. I gave him my phone number and left. On Saturday, I was in and out of the house, so I called and asked to speak with Mr. Porter. I was told he was busy and had not even gotten to my truck to give me an estimate, but that the person whom answered the phone would give the message to Mr. Porter and ask him to call me. Well, Saturday passed with no call. Sunday I heard nothing (I think they might be closed). Monday, still nothing. On Tuesday, I decided to stop by again, since my phone calls were not being returned, to inquire on how much longer it might be before he was able to get me an estimate. I was told that day he should have the estimate done before Friday, and would give me a call. Again, he took down my phone number. On Friday, I stopped by again. I saw Mr Porter this time. He told me that the repair would cost somewhere in the $200 range. I was fine with that price, so I gave permission for him to go ahead and complete the repair. He then said it would be ready by Wednesday of the next week (2 weeks after it was dropped off at the station). Wednesday came and went with no call about the vehicle. On Thursday morning I called yet again, that's when I was told that Mr. Porter had been called to perform Jury Duty, but should be back fairly soon. (It seems if he genuinely had Jury Duty, that he would have known that before hand, yet, he told me the truck would be finished on Wednesday.) That afternoon (Thursday), I went by the shop again, to see about picking up the vehicle. It was finally ready. The cost was $40 above the estimate, though. I paid for the repair and left Porter's to NEVER return. It was by FAR the WORST experience I have ever had with an auto mechanic! I would definitely NOT recommend this merchant to anyone."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/me/island-falls/g-r-porter-and-sons-inc-reviews-4871082.htm"},"position":10}]}

Horrible, absolutely horrible. DO NOT use this company. Company charges $289 to come out and look at your hot tub with the claim that the $289 will be applied to the total repair cost. Once they finally came to my house in mid July to look at the tub, the tech identified the issue right...

The Stone Restorer treats a lot of stone finishes types and this includes concretes. Polished concrete is concrete that has been treated with a chemical densifier and ground with progressively finer grinding tools. The grinding tools are usually progressive grits of diamond grinding cup wheels and diamond polishing pads. Polished concrete floors are low-maintenance, as they are more durable and easier to clean than many flooring options. Its relatively high coefficient of friction can make it non-slippery. Polished concrete reduces dust mite and allergen problems, and does not support mould growth. If you have a concrete finish at home that needs polishing call us at 0414 469 301.

Concrete can crack from general wear, improper installation, or in response to uneven support from the soil underneath. Small, thin cracks on the surface of aging concrete are usually a result of normal wear and tear, while cracks on new concrete more likely indicate a problem with installation. Larger cracks or uneven steps can signify a much more severe issue. A concrete contractor should be able to diagnose the cause and repair concrete cracks for you.

A gravel driveway should be at least 4 to 6 inches deep, depending on the soil it’s installed on. Softer soil that doesn’t drain well should have a deeper gravel driveway. Deeper gravel will mean you spend more on materials and labor, but you’ll get a more stable driveway and avoid damage that needs to be filled or graded flat again.
