"They told me they would be at the site at one hour and arrived several hours later. They didn't let me know that they wouldn't be at the site until hours after we had been waiting for their arrival. They did an excellent job of removing the old sheet rock and insulation and putting up the new. They wasted a lot of sheet rock that could be used on another project that we had to haul away. They did vacuum the site and washed the floor so it wasn't too bad for us to clean afterwards;"

"In summary I have to say Richard was  excellent!  He came when he said he would and finished the work when he said it would be finished.  As I solicited multiple bids for the work NE Renovations was among the most competitive.  As the work was completed I was so pleased I ended requesting he come back to do additional jobs.  He was very accomadating and even explained various options on how best to accomplish the additional work.

"Right from the beginning, Greg has been very professional in the way he scheduled the work at our place, and the way he and his team has handled the project.
We have a large bedroom in which we planned to installed the recessed lights. The deal advertised on Angie's List is very attractive (by far the best deal) with the only caveat that drywall repair is not included in the service. We were a bit concerned, and hoped that nothing will be damaged in this process. We are quite relieved that the project ended successfully with no painful issues. 
The work has started at 9 AM (yes, Greg has shown up on time at the work place!) and ended just before 11 AM. They have cleaned-up after the work, and the room is very bright with the newly installed beautiful lights. 
With no reservation, I recommend this provider for electrical services such as installation of new lights.

Aside from assuming, there are some practical ways to tell if you have plaster walls, including the following: If you knock on the wall and it feels solid, not hollow, if you can’t insert a thumbtack easily, if there are cracks that look like spiderwebs, or if your home has curved, arched, or swirled walls, doorways, or window openings.

If you have an unfinished basement or attic, you could examine the backs of any finished walls to check, too.

Plastering lasts for around 15 to 20 years without needing repairs or maintenance in most cases, and with proper upkeep, plastering can last a lifetime—sometimes more than 100 years. Plaster repair costs between $1 and $3 per square foot, and you may need these services once every 15 to 20 years or so unless you have a harsh climate where humidity changes are a constant issue. You can also opt to skim-coat plaster for between $0.90 and $1.30 per square foot, which may serve you better in the long run.
