"David was super communicative! I called him for an estimate for my mom’s brick steps. They were over 50 years old and some of the bricks were loose and the steps unsafe. He came out within 3 days to do the estimate and got back to me in one day. He was at my mom’s house 3 days after that on the job. My mom is so happy with the steps and the price. Mom is 87 and she kept talking about what a nice guy he was, would definitely recommend!"

"I had them do a cleaning and inspection of my chimney and they found damages to the brickwork and the top of the chimney. They installed a new cap and their cost was so reasonable. All their work is guaranteed as well, which is reassuring. They were clean, efficient and courteous. You will repoint over a fraction of the old mortar, but you should scrape away 1/2 to 1 inch of mortar from the joints before repointing. Otherwise, the repointing is only masking the weakened mortar instead of actually replacing it, which could put your chimney at risk of bigger, more expensive damages later on.

You should clean your home’s brick once per year. This applies to exterior brick, but also to cleaning brick fireplaces. Create a homemade cleaning solution with equal parts vinegar and water.
