David Alexander is an artist. He not only repaired my rock walls, he made them beautiful. Great attention to detail, a perfectionist. And the job was fairly priced. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor who really cares about the work he does.

Contractor ran his saw through two window frames and a door frame. He did not install the stone according to manufacturers installation instructions. Two exterior lights are trapped in by the stone, so I cannot change the light bulbs or the fixture. When I called his attention to the errors, he quit, took the rest of the stone which I paid 10K for him to purchase.

Very well, was satisfied. This was done at least a year ago if not longer.

Contractor performed substandard work capping the flue with a piece of scrap wood and covering with a light duty cement. After inspecting the work with a lift three weeks after completion we discovered that the cement had cracked and was loose. The cement was completely loose. We lifted a piece of the loose cement and discovered the wood underneath. A proper repair would have been to use lead to cover the unused flue. Apparently the contractor assumed that we would never see the work. He did return and replace most of the cement product and re cap the flue after I reported what I found.

Professional, timely and efficient, David did a fantastic job repairing our garage foundation and keeping it safe and secure. He was honest, clean, and reliable and did outstanding and professional work. When he saw that the work was more than he initially anticipated, he honored his quote, kept working and did a great job. I will definitely be using him again for other projects around the house.

David dealt with both issues professionally and promptly. He replaced the chimney, which was about to collapse, with brick and did a first-rate job including clearing decades of debris from the chimney clean-out. I didn't hesitate to call him back to do the roof replacement. David used architectural shingles to complete the roofing installation, which stopped the leaks and improved the overall appearance of the home. His pricing was competitive. Alexander's is a family-owned business and they treat their customers like family as well. A +

The job was more involved then anticipated due to roof condition underneath the old shingles, however, David stuck to his original quote and did not charge for the additional work. Great job.

I love the finished product but the mess was atrocious. Of course, that's the nature of having an interior chimney repointed, but I truly wasn't prepared for the amount of dust all over every single thing in my condo, even some of the rooms that were closed off. I wish there had been some sort of surface level cleanup included in the service, but other than that, I love the way my exposed brick looks in the kitchen.

David is young but has been in the business under his father for years and it's clear that he knows what he's about. His rates are reasonable and his work is excellent. We're very happy with the work he performed and will have him back in the spring for more work on our other chimneys.

He arrived on time, talked the project through and provided a quote that met our expectations. We hired him to complete the job plus sweep our chimney. The work was impeccable and completed in the time frame quoted. We are so thankful for him

Took him a week to get back to me after my initial call as he had been very busy. Arrived for estimate of cost of the job, agreed on a price and scheduled the work for a few days later. There was a threat of rain that day so he did not show. I called him and he rescheduled for next day. Dave arrived on time and did a very nice job repairing the chimney and cleaning up.

It went very well. I thought he was quite reasonable and knowledgeable. He completed in about a day and a half.

Came to look at work initially and said would do although far away from his home & wasnt making any money so he needed $50 for materials.  Gave him a check and picked a date to complete the work.  It was raining so didnt come but no call or email before or after.  I contacted them and they rescheduled but again no show and no call.  I called that day and they came the next morning.  He brought wrong ladder, handed me my $50 back and said call Angies list for refund.  It was over 30 days, so, I did not get refund back.  

His work was great. I think he got a lot of interest in his Angie's list offer and that backed his schedule up, but he made right by his word and did more than I thought for an additional fair price. I would certainly use David's services again and have already booked more work in the spring with him.
