"Steve arrived on time from Pennsylvania, even though the weather was very foggy that day. He analyzed the work to be done and I said the closest store for parts was Home Depot. I explained that Lowes installed the door in 2004. I took a picture and went to them first for repairs but they said they don't repair doors. However, they recommended Angie's List for a handy man and to use treated wood or PVC material for door framing. Steve returned with a door frame kit. He said the material was wood but seemed unsure if it was treated. He repaired the frame which took 4 and 1/4 hours and he allowed me to use a $25 coupon. The caulk had to dry before we could close the door. When dry, I tried to close and lock it with a key using my body weight to push hard but it would not close. I opened the main garage door and was able to pull hard and lock it from the inside. I called and he came back the next day. I was unsure if I was being charged $124 per hour for him to fix it correctly and I was honestly afraid to ask. He didn't say but either way I knew it had to be done. After two hours I told him I had to get back to work. I asked how long would he be? He told me he wanted to make sure it was done right and to my satisfaction. I told him to call me if he needed me and left him to finish. He already had my credit card info if needed and I asked my tenant to try the key in the lock when he was done. I came back on my lunchbreak a couple hours later. The frame was fixed, he cleaned up the area and he was gone. My tenant said the key worked great and there was no other charge."

"Great! Everyone from office staff to estimator to workman was very pleasant to work with. Had a problem gutter situation that many have tried to fix but they had a new idea that worked great. Actually sent guys out the day after the roof was done to tweak the gutter. Didn't quit until it was right! The guys showed up on roofing day right on time with a big crew. The shingle company hadn't put the shingles up on the roof because of the steep pitch, but they solved the problem by having a crew bring a lift while they were clearing the old shingles. They worked 12 hours on a very hot day so they could get it done in 1 day. Thorough cleanup. Nice guys; happy to have them working at my home. Roof looks great, & no leaks! Pricing was straightforward & very fair; I had multiple estimates."
