I wanted to completely change my kitchen but I didn’t want to shoulder the expense of new cabinetry. I spoke to Brandon about my vision (which was to have a rustic, distressed look on my kitchen cabinetry with coordinated accent cabinetry around the kitchen) and he gave me a lot of helpful info on the phone, even before I signed the contract. He came out to my home to show me what they could do, to make sure it was to my liking. His estimate also seemed fair. Once the job started, Brandon and Chris and Joe were kind and communicative, letting me know what they were doing each day and checking in for feedback. Because I wanted a unique, distressed look on my cabinets, they created the look entirely by hand based on my description of what I wanted. It was painstaking and labor-intensive, but they worked efficiently. The entire job was done in a week (they worked through the weekend) and I’m thrilled with the result. They also re-painted my walls, in a color that complimented the new cabinetry, and they replaced a light fixture. In addition to be very talented and building me a kitchen that I love, they are genuinely good humans, which is even more important. I’d highly recommend JCB."

"I found Naveed (Global Renovations, LLC) while hunting for a reliable kitchen remodel company in Montgomery County, MD. This being our third attempt at trying to get the quality we desired at a price point we could afford, I was admittedly a bit weary. Naveed came well recommended, and put our fears to rest quickly by taking the time to understand our priorities before presenting options that fit our budget. He worked with us over the next few weeks to refine the project and design a beautifully functional floor plan that checked off all our wish-list items without breaking the bank. Having spent a good deal of time communicating with Naveed, I find him to be down-to-earth, and really easy to work with. Naveed was happy to share customer references, and his workmanship is truly impressive. This being fairly late, my only option was to turn off the water mains and hope to locate someone the next day. Not knowing any plumber, I texted Naveed, and he responded at 4:30AM! He promptly came over when we woke up, and after evaluating the problem (a corroded copper pipe resulting in a pinhole leak), he got the necessary supplies, making quick work of the repair at a very reasonable cost. Having the water back on saved us a ton of inconvenience! My confidence in Naveed has only grown and while our kitchen reno hasn’t completed yet, I know I have just the right person for the job."

"I contacted JV's Handyman Services through Angie's List Website and about 15 days ago, he came and quoted me a price for the work. He asked for a deposit and I gave him $500 as initial payment, he promised to get the job done, he scheduled and came back on Sept. 11th, he said that he needs to get some more additional materials and asked for more money, I gave $200, then went out to home depot, said that he will be back in half an hour, but after getting my money, he never came back and never showed up at all. I made hundred calls and hundred messages but he is not returning my calls and when called with a different number, heard my voice and totally hanged up, never takes my calls, totally ignoring my calls, and he already took $700 from me but never shows up to do the work. I don't want him to come into my house again, and all I want now is to get my money back so I can hire another company to finish the job for me."

"Looks great! Had carpet removed from 2 hallways. They were able to find wood to match the wood on the stairs. The look is a seemless transition from stairs to halls. Looks as if it were hardwood to begin with. Really happy with the end result."
