"We could not have asked for a better experience that ended with a beautiful bathroom. Joe and all of the contractors that came in and out of the house were easy to communicate with, friendly and did a phenomenal job. My wife is all ready talking about the next project :). (Will post a picture when I figure out how)"

"Gary and his team did a great job replacing the long stairway and steps to my rooftop deck. Everything from the estimate through completion of the project was professionally handled. The end result looks great. Highly recommend them."

Small jobs welcome

"Doug and his men are hard working and conscientious. Doug is very particular about things being done right. That is a good quality, because he builds as though he is building for himself, so you know he is on top of the project. Price is very reasonable."

"Mike work very hard to help My Wife & I to lay out the design of our new bathroom! He went above and beyond on the work that he and his crew have done so far! Can t wait until the bathroom is all done to see how it all works out for My Wife & I. I just can t say enough on how it looks so far. Thanks Harold"

"This was the BEST experience we could have ever asked for! Wayne from the initial interaction was very personable, professional, transparent, friendly, communicative, knowledgeable, trustworthy and most of all, a good and honest person. We were very hesitant in hiring any contractor to complete our basement remodel but Wayne and Team put all of those fears to bed and delivered an absolutely well constructed, beautiful and comfortable space for our family to enjoy. The project was overall seamless and had a few challenges but nothing that Wayne could not recommend solutions to for a resolve. We were very fortunate to work with Wayne and would do so for all future projects that we may have - in a heart beat. We highly recommend BlueRidge Builders for your next project - definitely worth the time and investment to end highly satisfied with quality well constructed work in the end. Thanks Wayne, we really appreciate you and our beautiful new space!"

"I worked directly with Jasmine. Jasmine was great to work with, very professional and relatable. She was understanding about the sudden changes in color and material I had during multiple consultations. She offered me a vast knowledge of materials and details about the work I hadn’t thought of or didn’t know about. If I have another project in the future I won’t hesitate to reach out to Sentri Homes."

Storm Shelters questions, answered by experts

Modular homes are a type of prefab home. Specifically, manufacturers first build modular homes in sections and then deliver them to the job site. The modules, or sections, are usually at least 70% finished before they arrive on your property.

In comparison, prefab homes arrive in panels or segments, and workers assemble them on-site. Generally speaking, modular homes tend to be more durable, and their consistent construction standards may mean you’ll have an easier time getting conventional home loans.

A 2,000-square-foot modular home costs an average of {AvgCost}, and most homeowners pay between {AvgRangeMinCost} and {AvgRangeMaxCost}, depending on the customization options you choose and the quality of materials. If you choose a more custom design and go all out with upgraded finishes, you could pay as much as $600,000.

Average barndominiums last between 50 and 150 years depending on the materials they are made from, how well they are maintained, and the environment they are built in. Barndominiums are very durable and have a much longer lifespan than traditional wood homes. With proper care and maintenance, well-built barndominium homes can last generations.

Whether pole barn posts should be set in concrete depends on the soil surrounding your home. If your soil is compact and digging conditions are agreeable, then setting pole barn posts in concrete is an ideal option.

There's no simple answer to which is less costly: wood or metal-framed homes. In most cases, metal building components cost more than wooden ones, while entire metal buildings cost less than wooden versions. However, regardless of the exterior framing or structure, each must meet similar building codes. This means that the costs are about the same, even considering that wood will require more maintenance than metal over time.
