Prior to agreeing to perform the rekeying service the locksmith requested that I text him a picture of my existing key so he could determine if rekeying the lock was possible. The locksmith determined that rekeying my lock could be done. I was able to quickly make an appointment for the service. The locksmith arrived on time and quickly rekeyed the lock. "Not the greatest results - I have used this company before and been very pleased. They were pricey, but the quality of the work was worth it. This was not the case this last time. The technician cracked the door jamb in two places while replacing the door, left paint splatters on the floor and on the side of the door which was not supposed to be painted and messed up the handset on the door. He did repair most of these issues (the paint splatters I cleaned up myself with paint thinner), but since he worked by the hour I ended up paying for that too."
