"Mike was very personable and professional. He gave me a quote, which I accepted, and removed the furniture right away. My neighbor saw him removing my furniture and had him remove a chair from her home. I would highly recommend him and will call him should I need his services again."

"We had an above ground oil tank removed from the basement. The staff were professional. They came in and had the project done within a few hours which included removing the remaining oil, cutting the tank and removing the remaining lines. The oil smell was intense, but they had a spray or something that they used to minimize the smell. We are very pleased with the services."

"I found out about Wilbur Hull Nano Cleaning solutions on Angie's list thankfully. We originally contacted him regarding a mold issue. He was very straightforward and honest about the issue and how others would approach it (since we were getting a few quotes). I would highly recommend them to anyone who needed mold removal/treatment. Wilbur came in a few thousand dollars cheaper than competition and his team sprayed the whole house!"

Waste Removal Services questions, answered by experts

Composting can be a great alternative if you’re looking for a way to dispose of food scraps without a garbage disposal. If you have the space in your yard, you can install a compost bin or compost pile and add food waste. After enough time and heat, the compost will break down and can be used to mulch your garden.

If you don’t have space for compost, consider city-run programs or local companies that will pick up your food waste.

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops. You’ll need to scrape off most of the wax and use the distilled white vinegar to help soften and remove the rest and leftover residue. Keep in mind that while it’s possible, using distilled white vinegar isn’t an effective method for removing wax compared to the methods listed above.

Yes, many providers recycle eligible appliances. Confirm with your contractor.

Some flushable wipes companies say they are designed to disintegrate within a few hours to a few days after being flushed. These wipes allegedly use materials that are more water-soluble than traditional wipes. However, many experts have raised concerns that even so-called "flushable" wipes do not break down as easily as claimed and can contribute to clogs and blockages in sewer systems.

To prevent plumbing and sewer problems, avoid flushing wipes, even those labeled as flushable. Instead, dispose of them in the trash. This can help prevent costly plumbing issues and reduce the strain on wastewater treatment systems.

Transparent glass is recyclable, though you’ll need to contact your local recycling center. Some centers have guidelines that require all hardware to be removed before accepting the doors. In some locations, you may also need to contact a glass-specific recycling company. Be careful if the recycling center has drop-off bins. Glass shower doors can be heavy. Take a second person with you to help you lift the doors into the bin without breaking the glass.
