"Worst service I’ve ever have experienced. They wanted to sell me the product, never told me that there was an early termination fee and another penalty for an initial offer they gave me. Had double charges every month, once for the oil they provided (which they never told me they were going to provide before coming. They just came without my knowledge and then I find a high amount bill) and another for an “automatic payment” for 500 that they never could explain. The didn’t even fix this issue and it kept happening every month even after I cancelled the service. Then having to call them is a hastié for the refund of the 500. Stay away of this company"

The gutters and ridge vent installation went well and I am happy with the service provided."

"I had a leak in my roof and it cause my upper floor ceiling to collapse. I needed to get tarp placed on the roof in order to mitigate further damage. It was an emergency situation because the forecast called for rain the next day. When I went on Angies List to get someone American Group Construction was the first to reply. Isai was able to come out the same day and place the tarp on the roof. I was so impressed with the professionalism I wanted them to fix the roof. He was very nice and professional. He went over what needed to be done and worked with me with respect to the home insurance company. He kept in touch with me throughout the process and was on time. The work was done as scheduled and was completed on time. I was very pleased with Isai and American Group Construction. I would definitely recommend them for work."

"P. J. McTavish & Co. from Burtonsville, MD was hired to replace and repair a very old damaged roof on my Rancher Home, which has a few additions in the rear. These additions have many peaks, valleys and an area of flat roof. We had many other companies look at it and some didn’t even want to take on the job, and if they did it was for a price I could not afford. I had officially given up hope. This truly was not an easy job to partake in. Hiring P.J. McTavish & Co. was truly the best decision. Mr. Pat was caring and truthful about the horrible shape my roof was in. I knew he was being truly honest, cause I heard from other contractors the same problems. But he assured us his team would do the job as efficiently as possible. Each and everyone on his team were respectful, efficient, and professional. I was so impressed with how his team worked so closely together and seemed to take a lot of respect in their work, and our home and yard…which let’s be honest…you do not see that much in today’s world. Pat kept us well informed of all the progress. There are not enough “Thank You’s” I can give to this whole team of wonderful men. Everyone stayed steadily busy and worked very hard. "Southernwood put a roof on my new construction home. Install was fine, overall appearance of the roof was nice, decent customer service and follow-up. However there was a leak in my newly installed roof. Each time I called to complain, Southernwood responded within 2 days. Each time they responded, it was something different, to much water in one area, to much debris, and a poor design. They even offered to provide a quote to rectify the poor design. I had someone else find the source of the leak - a hole in the flashing. This one little detail missed created hundreds of dollars in repairs, and could have been avoided."
