Joseph and another member came within a couple of days to assess the situation, make recommendations, and take measurements. Joseph then emailed pictures of various granite slabs since I was unable to get to their site, and within a week his team installed the top, offset sink, and my faucet. Both their installer and plumber readily answered all questions. Also, because I have add'l bathroom remodeling to do, I asked Joseph for any recommendations he may have for providers with whom he's worked who do smaller jobs and are good. "A two man team arrived and removed my old countertops.  They tried to keep dust to a minimum when drilling out the holes for the faucet and instant hot.  They installed a new faucet, garbage disposal and moved my instant  hot unit.  Countertops are beautiful.  I wish I had done it years ago to replace my laminate countertops.  The job took about four hours and I am very pleased.

"I purchased the Big Deal for AABCO's installation of a new garbage disposal, testing/inspecting the drain line for obstructions, and an impressive warranty (5 yrs/2 yrs parts and labor) on the new disposal unit. Upon contacting AABCO on a Friday afternoon, inquiring about when someone might be able to come out and replace the disposal unit (having mentioned that the kitchen sink wasn't draining properly either - perhaps due to the utterly dead unit, or perhaps another issue), Mr. Gaskins promptly offered me a 9 am appt. the next morning - a Saturday, at no extra charge!
Mr. Gaskins was prompt, thoroughly professional, clearly experienced, and most gracious. He quickly and efficiently removed the old unit, inspected the drain line for any other obstructions, and quickly determined that the rusted unit was the sole reason for the slow drain. Then, despite very little room to maneuver under the kitchen sink cabinet (and very tight pipe connections), he expertly installed the new unit, tested it to make sure it was working properly, and even stayed a few more minutes to make sure that the drain was draining properly after I started the dishwasher. Thanks to his coming to the job well-prepared for any possible complications, he was able to quickly replace a worn, tight plastic connection that snapped (during installation), with a new piece that he had stocked on his truck - and most graciously replaced it free of charge. He took great care to ensure my home stayed clean at literally every step - donning shoe covers at the entryway, bringing towels and a bucket with him to catch any drips, and taking the old disposal unit away with him when he left. Mr. Gaskins was utterly professional, personable, honest, and gracious. I would gladly call him again for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future. I have already recommended him to my neighbors!

"Robert arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional.  We have alot of LF of gutters and 12/12 pitch roofs and dormers.  He did the work quickly and cleanly, bagging all of the debris.  Normally, when I do it, the ground looks like a hurricane had been through but with K&R, I couldn't even tell the gutters had been cleaned.  Beautiful!
It can be difficult to hire someone for a job you would normally do yourself but, when it's necessary, it's great to find the right place. Thanks!

"They arrived 2 hours late after calling to say they would be here in 45 minutes.  Then the details seemed a bit ascew.  They had decided on one truck.  The guy in charge, "David", knew and was concerned about the amount of stuff.  But he decided one truck.  So it all didn't fit in the vehicle.  It was 5 pm at this point, and they had to drive to Catonsville and unload the full truck and come back to get the rest. So they decided to empty the rest of the basement and put it outside so they could come back and get it.  David, by phone, then said it was a cash event.  I told him I would give him half until the rest of it was gone.  Ran to a bank machine, which would only give me $200.  Came back and gave it to them.  Then David, again by cell phone, insisted on at least a check for the rest.  He said he'd be back at "day break" to get the rest.  Sent me an email receipt.  It's 4 pm and nothing yet.  My fault for not having a contract, for sure.  I just want people to know that this is awful and unacceptable.  What idiots."

"Mary scheduled the appointment and called to confirm.  Dave did the installation.  He arrived on time, was polite, and accommodated our request on where to locate the battery for the system.  He showed me how to use the system and left the room clean as if no work had been done.  The main pump probably is nearing the end of its life and we will use this company again to replace it.
