"I had a simple water filter install. I needed a "whole house" water filter installed. The techs did the job as requested. ...what they did NOT do is install the the system with "sweated hardware"...ie, no soldering involved. What that means is the system was installed "crimped"....I'm happy cause it doesn't leak, but I don't know how well it will sustain, later on down the line."

"The tech was excellent in immediately fixing the garbage disposal, so I did not have to pay for a new one. However, the leaking washer was really more than he could handle. He came 2 times and did not fix it. He did think the main drainage pipes were clogged and a plumber would have to do that.He should have diagnosed this on the first visit. He suggested coming back for a 3rd. I declined."

"We actually hired J Hoss for two jobs, and they did a great job with both! Both were tricky operations involving the plumbing of an old beach house, and they came up with effective ways of dealing with every issue. The hot water heater install involved moving an old hot water heater out of a crawlspace and putting a new one in in a closet, and the plumbing lines were a bit wacky due to the way the cottage had been added onto over time. But they solved the problems without tearing out any walls, which was great. The other job involved a DIY project installing a bathroom vanity that we got halfway through before realizing we were over our heads. They were game and jumped right in and worked with us to complete the job. We loved how they collaborated with us and were so cheerful about our amateur efforts! Definitely will hire again."
