"I have lived at this home for 30+ years. I liked all the big shade trees. Over the years, I have had to hire tree companies to remove trees due to disease or storm damage. I have experience with these types of services. Veteran Tree Services (Freddie, the owner) is the absolute best tree company I have ever hired. For a large tree, I have always gotten three quotes. Freddie's quote was competitive and he was timely with his initial response, follow-up and scheduling. His crew was great: they all kept busy during the process, and the clean up afterward was thorough. There was a technical aspect to my job. In removing large trees, it is common to use a rope in a nearby large tree as a "helper" to guide the branches and trunk down safely. This was my last large tree, so no "helper" tree was near. The other quotes I got didn't convince me this would be easy or possible without a crane. The Veteran Tree Services crew had the technical skills and experience and did a great job. Thanks!!!"

"If you use Prestige, you will pay for an arborist who will do the quote, but the work will be done unsupervised with all of the finesse of a BGE roadside crew. I hired Prestige to do some tree removal and prune old two large fir trees, including removing lower branches and pruning some of the branches that were coming toward the house. I met with the arborist twice to explain what I wanted. On the day of the work, the crew leader did not have the correct instructions for my house. I called the office and asked them to have the arborist talk to the crew leader. When I came out, they had sheared all the branches of the tree that pointed in the direction of my house instead of selectively pruning the branches that were coming toward my house. The tree looks terrible. They also did not complete removing dead branches from the back side of a second tree and needed to return. This time, I closely watched to make sure the work was done right. The tree removals were done well, but my poor fir trees look terrible, especially the one right next to my driveway! If I can post pictures, I will include them. You do not need to hire an arborist to have this quality of work done. And if you want an arborist overseeing the work, definitely do not hire Prestige."

"Fabulous experience! could not have gone better. Communication spot on. Arrived promptly for estimate and emailed it immediately. they charge $600 and had other estimates for $900, $100 and $1400 for same job! sent out Miss utility and once that was complete they were ready to c ome out the next day. they had to push is to one day later due to an unexpectedly long job but they came the next day as promised. They communicated with me by phone, email and text to let me know off the schedules and any chances. Did the work with a team of 5 and large, well-kept machines. removed the stump and removed all the debris and place was in perfect condition (minus our dead tree) when they left. final payment request came in promptly and was easy to pay online. I would hire them again without any hesitation. VERY happy with the company."
