"Roy was responsive, making a visit the day we called about the drained pipes. He called in advance of arriving, and was careful with his tools to avoid any unnecessary mess. He also wore booties to protect the floor. Best of all, he was careful about testing the lowest-cost solution before bringing in larger tools and incurring more charges. Within a half hour he'd addressed all the leaks and was on his way.

"I had a pipe burst in the basement of our rental property, Flood Crew was referred by our realtor. They arrived quickly after the pipe was fixed by our plumber, demoed, and dried out the areas, even handled packing out our furniture and placing carefully in a pod storage while the work was being done. They did mold testing and made sure everything was safe, the best part was that they dealt with the insurance and we didn’t have to do anything."

"We've used Constantly Running for plumbing issues such as fixture replacements and pipe leaks and have been very satisfied with work performed by James Russell, proprietor, and his staff.  We'd had them out to install a new garbage disposal and snake a slow bathtub drain.  While cleaning out the drain James discovered that there was a small hole in the drain pipe that had been covered by accumulations of debris that once removed, allowed water to drain through the hole onto the ceiling of the room below.  In conversations about the state of the bathroom in general, we'd mentioned that it was our intention at some point to have the bathroom renovated. They had to return to replace the defective portion of drain pipe and repair the ceiling of the room below and while they were working, James offered to renovate the bathroom at a price that sounded eminently reasonable.  I wasn't aware that this was a service he offered, but since we've always been impressed with his work, we decided to go ahead with the project.  At first glance if looked straight-forward, in term of removing old wall and floor tile and replacing it, as well as the tub enclosure and the vanity.  It turned out to be a larger project, as the all the walls and flooring need to be taken down to the wood frame.  The walls and flooring were replaced, and new tiles, fixtures and paint that we had chosen and purchased were installed.  The craftmanship was exemplary.  James and his staff were totally competent, eminently courteous and friendly, and the job was done in a timely manner.  The renovation turned out better than we had ever thought possible, and we are very happy to have been able to work with him, and hope to do so again with another bathroom.

"Have lived at property for 20 years without addressing major interior renovations. We interviewed 7 companies to perform Bathroom overhauls. IF work was performed to our satisfaction, the understanding was that the remodeler would have pole position (front row-inside lane), when we addressed the Kitchen Remodel. Mega Kitchen and Bath (Ibrahim and Emry) presented a "can-do" attitude from the initial interview, assisting us with a 'mock up' of the actual bathroom cabinets/tiles/colors/patterns - all while we were still in the evaluation stages for which company to select. This important step was missing from all others, as we were 'on our own' in terms of the design selection process. We left from their showroom 80% certain they would be our choice (with one other company interview/visit left). At the end of the company evaluation process - they were our hands down choice to work with. We continually heard the phrase "it is possible" from Ibrahim and Emry, when discussing options and modifications - certain to arise during the fog of construction. It was re-assuring that no matter the unforeseen dilemma encountered (shower stall downsizing/wall removal/floor-threshold heights/cabinet alterations), that Ibrahim had the solutions to address the challenge. Having busy schedules as we do, this was especially important to ensure the project continued on schedule. Both bathrooms now have beautiful cabinets and tilework (floor/walls/shower drains). The Hall bathroom has a more metro/urban style design, with the Master bathroom being more of a natural/slate theme. The Master bathroom is now modernized and opened up, having removed two walls. Next, Mega Kitchen and Bath performed a complete remodel of our nearly 40 year old kitchen. They opened the room up by knocking out a wall and installing a two tiered peninsula in its place. The overall theme was more modern, with Ultra Craft Textured Melamine cabinets (off white) with textured floor tile/backsplash (latte colored theme), and a gorgeous gray sparking quartz countertop to pull it all together. Throughout the entire renovation process (2 baths and 1 kitchen - nearly 70K in cost) we found Mega Kitchen and Bath to be flexible to our specific needs (mobility/design preferences) - never overcome by unforeseen/developing obstacles encountered along the way. Ibrahim and crew were an absolute pleasure to work with - truly desiring to make the customer happy, and going the extra mile to deliver services as promised. We would not hesitate recommending them for anyone looking for interior renovation work. They provide a healthy selection of beautiful patterns/colors/materials to choose from and assist in pairing down the selection process - by taking a more proactive approach with potential customers. My wife (borderline chef in her free time) has waited 20 years for a moment like this. Now she couldn't be happier, cooking away in her brand new gourmet kitchen - compliments of Mega Kitchen and Bath!! Thank You to all who made our new life possible: Ibrahim, Emry, Jose (Jr/Sr), Wilson, Tony and Others who assisted!!"

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If your dishwasher isn’t draining, some common causes include a clogged drain filter, drain hose, or air gap. Also, if you have a garbage disposal, a clog in the disposal can back up your dishwasher since they share plumbing, as can a clog in your kitchen sink’s plumbing. A handy DIYer may be able to figure out how to unclog a dishwasher, but you may need to call in a plumber if you can’t locate and clear the clog yourself.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

Septic tanks can clog if they aren’t pumped every few years since solid waste accumulates inside of them. Your tank might also clog if you have a habit of flushing anything other than human waste or toilet paper. Items like diapers, baby wipes, paper towels, cat litter, and personal hygiene products should never go down your pipes.

If you leave liquid drain cleaner for too long, it will start breaking down your drainpipes. The chemicals in these cleaners can cause cracks, corrosion, and leaks in your pipes. They can also damage plumbing fixtures and even cause environmental damage if left too long without rinsing away.

Anything from debris, rust, ice, and even poor installation can cause clogs in your plumbing vents. Some signs of a clog include slow drains, gurgling sounds in drains and toilets, and bad odors. The bad odors are the most concerning, as these can include methane and hydrogen sulfide. Contact a plumber to come take a look if you notice any of these signs.
