Super friendly and reasonable (at least for the cleaning, I didn't double check prices for caps, but honestly don't care too much since they have a lifetime warranty on it). "They came out and cleaned the chimney from top to bottom, the technician worked very hard and did a great job. He also informed us that our chimney liner had several cracks and the liner needed to be replaced to be completely safe. I was very happy with their thoroughness and will certainly have them back next year.

"l originally contacted the company approx. 2 yrs ago and was given a fair estimate. I had contacted other companies who had told me that I needed my entire roof redone at the cost of $6000! When Chico gave me a very detailed estimate of just what needed to be done, I knew that I would work with his company. During the 2yrs I would periodically receive emails asking if the repairs still need to be performed. They were always professional and polite, never pushy. When I finally came up with the money I contacted the company to have the roof re-assessed due to the time that had lapse from the original estimate. Chico came over promptly and offered to start work right then, and at the original estimate!  He even offered me advice on how to have my front door properly re-hung. He had my husband come up on the roof to take a look at the work performed. As promised, Carmine called when he was 45 minutes away from our house so I had plenty of time to leave work and meet him.  He was friendly and extremely professional, even asking my permission before entering the house. He even asked me if he could call me "Steve", or would I prefer Mr. Carr. He and his worker Bill were clean and dressed nicely. They spread a blanket in front of the fireplace and cleaned up when they finished. They noticed a water stain on our living room ceiling and offered to check the flashing on the roof. They found a three inch hole and fixed it immediately, provided us with a 7 year warranty. Colonial was half the price of the other Chimney sweeps on Angie's List and it's hard for me to imagine anyone providing better service.

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"We received several estimates and Mark's was by far the best.  He was easy to get a hold of and communicated the whole way through the process.  He came on a Saturday and finished the job in a day.  He even gave us options for mortar color which ended up matching the existing mortar perfectly.  We are happy with the results as the chimney looks better and more importantly is structurally sound, we're now less worried about leaks and further deterioration.  We will definitely consider Mark for future masonry work around our house.
