"They are coming weekly for lawn care and are doing a great job! The price is reasonable and the employees are nice. We had them do a small hardscaping project with weeding and they did a pretty good job!"

"All the work was done safely, professionally, and quickly. Mr. Lopez consulted with me throughout the work process to ensure I was satisfied. The crew carefully removed objects that were in harms way, as well as carefully worked around nearby structures. The crew also did some extra work to move some previously downed trees to a non-conspicuous area (free of charge). The yard was completely restored to its previous condition without any work debris on the lawn areas. I could not have been more satisfied with the estimating process, the workmanship, and the price."

"Bob was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable above the various trees in question and offered several options for us to consider. There was no pressure as to which option to choose. The crew was all work and completed most of the work Saturday and completed it Monday. Aside from the missing trees, there was little to indicate they were there as the crew did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves.

"Mulch delivery and installation was a good and well priced. I think the cleanup and trimming came at a premium. The work was thorough, and communication was quick. Fred was helpful in the decision making process and made great suggestions for both this and future projects. Looking forward to hiring them again for other projects."

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

In the short term, you’ll have a lot of fallen trees to deal with. Tree removal services costs typically start at $200 per tree and increase based on species and size. Then, you’ll have to deal with the loss of trees: That means a loss of shade and a greater risk of rain runoff and erosion. Also, you’ll miss out on the health and aesthetic benefits of having trees on your property, which could even affect the resale value of your home.

That being said, cutting down a tree it’s not always a bad idea. Trees growing too close to rooftops can present fire hazards or debris problems. You may need to remove diseased or dying trees to prevent future issues.

The fastest way to rid your yard of pesky stickers or burs is to go mechanical on them with a lawn mower or garden rake. Use a lawnmower with a bagger attachment to avoid spreading the seeds around and causing a bigger issue. If you choose to rake the stickers off the plants, be sure to dispose of them properly. Avoid putting them in with the composting and check local guidelines for disposing of lawn waste.

While you can leave roots in the ground, if you don’t want the shrub to regrow again over time, it’s best not to leave any roots behind. Ensure you remove as much of the shrub as possible, including the root ball and any main roots you can see, to prevent new growth. Some gardeners opt for using a chemical treatment to prevent the stump from growing back, but this can kill beneficial microorganisms living in your soil.

In general, you can prune up to one third of the height of most shrubs without damaging them. There are a few exceptions to this rule: Pine shrubs, for example, can’t be trimmed below the point of new growth without damaging them.

No. Unfortunately, leaf removal is your responsibility, no matter what tree the leaves come from. It would be pretty hard to regulate leaves since they can be moved by the wind or water. Imagine the detective skills it would take to determine which tree each leaf came from and who was then liable for removing it. Instead, plan to remove any leaves on your property.
