From the quote process to finished product Matt and Gary Cooper were extremely professional. Their crew did an excellent job and went above and beyond, paying attention to details and doing extra things at no extra charge (i.e. digging an irrigation trench and adding/curving the asphalt to meet existing walkways). The resulting driveway project looks amazing! A much needed home improvement! We are recommending them to all of our friends and neighbors.

Matt was very helpful in answering all my questions about gravel vs paving vs concrete and quoted me a price on the spot which was $1,000 lower than another company that came out. Gary and the crew that came out was wonderful and made sure the grade would divert water from my carport and put a swale in the pavement to divert water to an existing drain I had installed (it works great!). I highly recommend them.

Cooper is absolutely head and shoulders above all his competitors; NONE BETTER! I had four estimates and quickly discarded two after their on site visit. The third one "bit the dust" after Matt Cooper came out. Matt is top notch; straight forward, personable and HONEST! His brother,Gary, was also on site for the entire job nad has the same qualities as Matt. The work was truly superior; arrived on time,all the equipment ( two huge dump trucks,bobcat,pavers and compact machines) plus all the gravel,dirt and asphalt were on hand. This was a major repair and it was done absolutely flawlessly! The total cost of $4600 was worth every penny. I can uniquiviccoly state that Cooper Paving should replace your present number one outfit on your list- not buried near the B rated firms. This outfit does everything the RIGHT way and does it in an absolutely superior manner! I would hire Cooper again in a New York minute!

I am so very happy with the services I received from Cooper Paving. We needed to have our long driveway resealed after waiting too many years to have it done. We preferred to find a contractor that used a brush-on method rather than a spray-on. Starting in Feb. 2017 through April 2017, I called 4 contractors for quotes (and one of those I called 3 times). All 4 only did the spray-on method. One contractor provided a quote right away, but it was out of our budget range. The other 3 never got around to getting me a quote. I then contacted Cooper Paving at the end of April and received a quote in less than a week, within our budget and using the brush-on method. On the scheduled date, the 2 workmen showed up on time, in uniform and very polite and professional in explaining what the process would be. They got right to work and were very focused and precise in the application. I was especially pleased that the edging was so meticulous and exact. I’ve heard stories of contractors splashing tar all over, and making a sloppy mess, but that was definitely not the case with Cooper. Looking back, I’m very glad that none of those other contractors got back to me, because I can’t imagine anyone topping the service and product I received from Cooper Paving.

Great job at a reasonable cost! Matt met with me a couple times to discuss the project and negotiate price. His was the lowest price of three competing bids. His crew worked professionally and were always courteous, despite the heat and a delay due to high tide. The work was completed on time in two days and with a very even, smooth surface, including adding curbs and drainage diversions. My community members have complimented the work. I highly recommend Cooper Paving.

They did a good job. They made the driveway a bit too narrow but the job was done well.

Top notch! I wanted to use this company last year but they were a little pricier. I called them back this year and they came down in price.  Work was done and i couldn't be happier. They went above and beyond what i was expecting. They take pride in their work.
My front of house went from a gravel mess to a beautiful asphalt driveway. It has really changed the look of our house. Everybody who walks by compliments the work. We have had several people from the neighborhood ask us  who completed the work. 
We are planning on moving soon and if a driveway is needed, we will not go anywhere else no matter what the price. Their work is great and their employees are pleasant to work with.

The work and crew of Cooper Paving are very professional. All was work was performed in a superior manner. The design and estimate step was responsive to my schedule and the firm's President was insightful and able to answer all questions and concerns. The work was performed without delay as the crew worked long hours on the preparation phase to be ready for the final paving step. The crew and its manager where very responsive to all question asked. The paving looks beautiful. I am very pleased that I was able to use to Cooper Paving as the contractor to install my new driveway. Should you need paving - Cooper Paving is the firm to hire.

Teams of workers arrived the day before paving to scrap and contour driveway. Next morning all hands on deck to blacktop lower portion of driveway. Weather did not cooperate but was assured it would not affect blacktopping. Work continued throughout the day. Crew very attentive to the and quot;littleand quot; details and the finished product looked great. Next day the same crew re-graveled the top portion of the driveway. Look of finished work more than I had expected. Very nice .Very pleased Crew chief easy to work with. Answered all questions. Left job site clean and neat. I am a happy camper!

Originally, their estimate was the highest out of 3 estimates made a month ago. Then the owner came by, we dickered a bit and he gave me a better price.
45 minutes later ( they had just finished another job in the neighborhood), the crew showed up and got right to work. After much figuring as we have a serious drainage problem, they decided to tear up half the driveway and regrade it.
From start to finish, 6 hours. They took no breaks. The result was a great looking and functional, draining-wise, driveway. They tested the drainage with our garden hose and 5 gallon buckets to make sure the gradients were correct.
A very good job.

What a great experience working with Cooper Paving! There were last and best major contractor I have hired as completion nears on a home I have been building for myself and family. Matt (co-owner with brother Gary) promptly responded to my request for a quote, showed up on time, and quickly provided the best quote received (all were very close in price). Matt, sporting a clean uniform and easy smile, reminded me of the bygone 1950 era service station mechanic/owner. Less than a week later, Matt shows up on schedule with Gary and a small army of uniformed, incredibly polite employees. With total can-do attitudes, they happily absorbed a few requested changes, never uses these changes as an excuse to squeeze more money out of the project. Their skid-steerer operator, Jorge, was an artist at grading a very challenging shaped driveway with complex pitches required for storm water management and septic cleanout covers. The finished asphalt is incredibly smooth and sheds all rainwater with no puddles. They cleaned up and left the yard in better shaped than when they started.

They did a very professional job. Designed the driveway so it is more aesthetically pleasing. They did a nice job of grading so that water no longer pools at the bottom of our drive. We are very pleased.

Company's response was slow, but I appreciate their honesty. I will use them in future.

Owner of company came by to ask if we were interested in replacing our driveway. It was in pretty bad shape. He was in area...could do the job that day. It was a little high pressure, but I was very worried about the water damage that was resulting from the way the old driveway had eroded. Water was pouring into the foundation and flooding our crawlspace during bad rains. Mr Cooper promised it would be fixed. He said if it isnt, dont pay me. No money until the job is done. He promised I would be satisfied. I decided to go for it. The equipment rolled about a half hour later. I was impressed with how they removed the old driveway and graded the slope so quickly and perfectly. You cant tell there's a grade, but it just carries the water away. Perfect. I may have been able to beat the price if I shopped around, but I bet the result would not have been as good. It looks and works great. Cooper paving did what they promised.

What to say? They came when they stated they would, negotiated a good price and did the job well at the time they stated they would.

Worked with Matt Cooper for estimate and coordination.  Cooper Paving was responsive and performed very well.  I needed additions added to my existing asphalt driveway.  Their crew worked well, a good bed was layed down and the new asphalt lined up very well with the existing driveway.

The laborers were very nice and did an excellent job.

Gary stopped by and gave an estimate promptly. We had 3 estimates. Cooper was the highest but in fairness the other two companies were only going to seal the u shaped driveway and not resurface it. This was definitely needed as we had patches of broken asphalt and grass was growing out in the gaps. Work was done as scheduled in about half a day as there was a full team. Gary was there the whole time working with his crew. He came back 2 days later to inspect and collect his check. Very professional and will recommend highly.

I called S. Cooper on June 7 and a written proposal was provided to me by June 10, and the work was completed on June 15. I am extremely pleased with both the work and the thoroughness of the job. They showed up on time (in fact a little ahead of schedule) and did an excellent job of sealing the driveway. I would recommend this company to anyone. They were very professional.

Extremely professional and efficient. This is my first experience with such a project so I'm not sure how good the price was, but given the amount of person-power, equipment and expertise required to do the job, the price charged seemed fair. I am very happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use their services again.
