"I very much recommend this contractor! Answers fast, gives extremely fair prices, gives fast appointments AND the show up on time! They are very polite and nice. They also clean up the station after they’re done! I find them reliable, quality work and fairly priced. They also work as long as they need to. For our house they: Fixed the window frames outside because the mortar was broken or eroded and when it stormed outside, it rained inside our house. They changed rotten wood, painted it, cemented places in the brick wall that needed it, put mortar/caulk and sealed 4 windows from the outside. The other project was putting bifold closet doors which included cutting them to size, installing the hardware, and painting them. This was the first time I’ve had to hire someone to fix things around the house that I couldn’t, and I was really nervous. I’m grateful I found Chapin Handyman LLC through Angie’s list! Oh! And they are insured and bonded, too!"

They were very neat and cleaned up and covered the floor areas and our bed. They put in a barn door and had to install a header with drywall. The project had many parts and space was limited, but it was finished on time and on budget thanks to the crew's competence, creativity and attention to detail. Devin managed to conceal a waste water pipe against a wall with some judicious cutting of a cabinet and tweaking of the tile back splash, he turned a living room closet on the other side of a kitchen wall into a pantry, and rerouted air vents that had  been inside the wall that separated the kitchen from the dining room. He worked with vendors including Cabinet Discounters, ABW appliances, Mosaic Tile and ABKA Marble & Granite to ensure the project stayed on track. And he dealt swiftly with glitches, replacing a dinged sink and a scratched drawer front.. A job well done."

"Jim arrived on time and got to work immediately. He was very friendly and professional. He had to drill holes into the tile in both of my bathrooms to install the grab bars. The master bathroom didn’t have studs that he could use, so he had to use anchors. This meant drilling additional holes and it took more time than usual. He left the bathrooms neat and clean. I also had him caulk the bathtub in the guest bathroom. He did a great job overall! I just wish that it wasn’t as expensive as it was. That’s why I gave the price a “B” rating."
