"Within a day or two of our inquiry, owner/manager Kyle Hodges was here to evaluate our problem and give an estimate for the work he discussed with us. Although we live in a townhouse, the record-breaking Maryland rainfall and the slant of the front lawn toward our foundation had caused serious water build up at our foundation and threat to overflow into the basement.. For several weeks we had been bailing rainwater round the clock from the trench that had formed at the front of our home and using dozens of paper towel rolls to absorb water. Kyle saw the seriousness of the problem, brought his co-worker Matt who would do the work to help plan their project and scheduled a date. Matt was excellent and very thorough. So far the work they did has solved the problem successfully, and we look forward to their return in the spring for more corrective landscaping. "Did excavation of making the driveway 12 feet wider and then installing a retaining wall around the perimeter of the driveway. Wall is 61 feet in length total. Garrett was excellent working with and helping with extra quotes and getting the job done. The entire crew did a great job and finished early. I have nothing but good things to say about Balco. "Decorus did a great job of building a brick wall and grading the yard for additional level surface. This was a safety issue for my grand children who might have rolled down into the river on such a steep grade. The decorative & Functional fence did not obstruct our waterfront views. Both teams cleaned up nicely. They even blew the mowed grass on our sidewalk which was not their responsibility. Thanks to the crew."
