Eric and his team did an excellent job. He suggested deer resistant plants that would grow in specific areas of full sun and shade. The stones around the border tied the garden bed together and added interest to the landscaping. I would highly recommend MD Legacy.

We hired MD Legacy to renovate the walkway in the front of our home. Eric, the owner, personally designed the improvement and made the entire process seamless: from selecting the perfect pavers to providing a fair and reasonable estimate. He was very easy to work with and was always available for a call, accommodating our schedule and ensuring everything went smoothly from the start. From demolition to installation, the entire project was completed on time in just two days! His crew of Carlos, Jose, and Reggie were professional, efficient, and meticulous in their work. This is the fourth major project that we’ve hired MD Legacy for, and once again, they blew us away by turning our landscaping dreams into reality. We asked them to build paver-stone borders around several of our mulched beds, to give long-lasting definition to the shapes, prevent intrusion by grass and weeds, and create a buffer to protect the garden plants from damage by lawn equipment. As we’ve come to expect, the estimate process was clear and detail-oriented, and Eric’s level of communication from start to finish was unparalleled. The entire crew is basically like family at this point, and they worked tirelessly to bring our exact vision to life, making sure to consult us on any decisions that had to be made along the way. Jose excavated the trenches neatly and precisely, at the proper depth needed for each area. We continue to be amazed by Carlos’ artistic stone-cutting skills—he is able to take rectangular pavers and transform them into graceful curves and shapes that redefine the composition of our yard. And when some of the pavers from the supplier turned out to be the wrong kind, Reggie and Chris traveled promptly to obtain the right ones; the crew ended up working hours longer than anticipated to leave us with a perfectly completed job and a spotlessly clean yard. Not only are the results gorgeous, but as usual the team at MD Legacy made the entire experience fun and enjoyable as well.

The MD Legacy team did an exceptional job. They added a deep edge, or restored it where it previously existed, on 5 flower beds. The were very detail oriented on shaping the bushes, and raking away all underbrush that had gathered under bushes and trees over the years. They were very informed on how best to trim back specific plants like hydrangeas to encourage new growth. The new mulching they added looks fantastic, as well.

When I decided to contact the company about landscaping at my house, I was amazed by how quickly Eric Cardona responded, and how efficiently we communicated. I described what I wanted. Eric visited my property, took measurements, emailed photos for my review, documented the job, and emailed a detailed estimate. Once I approved the estimate, Eric scheduled the job. He remained in contact and updated me as the scheduled date approached. Eric and the crew arrived on time the day they were scheduled. While the job was in progress neighbors stopped to admire the work and inquire about having MD Legacy LLC landscape their properties. When the crew completed the job (one day plus part of the next) at my home, they meticulously cleaned the work areas, and before leaving checked to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I will work with MD Legacy LLC again and highly recommend the company to other property owners.

This was the third time in one year that we’ve hired MD Legacy for a major landscaping job, and just like before, they totally knocked it out of the park! We came up with our own special design for a new stone garden wall, and they worked creatively and tirelessly to bring our vision to life. Even when the stone supplier delivered the wrong materials the day before, Eric rectified the situation as quickly as possible—and the very talented crew (Carlos, Jose, and Eric’s dad Reggie) worked extra long the second day to finish on time. The finished wall perfectly complements the shape of our property, and we can’t wait to start planting in it. And on top of their impeccable work, the whole team is so friendly and considerate—Jose even took the extra step of using a blower on all the cars down the street to make sure they were clean from any stone dust. We’re already looking forward to them coming back soon for the next improvement!

When I left a review of MD Legacy last year for building a beautiful paver-stone pad, I wrote that I looked forward to calling Eric again in the spring for some additional work. And WOW--they just finished the new projects, which have completely transformed the entire perimeter of our house! We hired them to remove overgrown bushes along the front of our house and create new garden beds in their place, as well as lawn leveling and grass treatments. As he did last year, Eric stayed in virtually constant communication by text and phone, patiently answering our many questions and addressing every issue we brought up with creative solutions. We could tell he was giving the project his full attention, and he designed the new garden beds in gorgeous shapes that complement the contours of our property, with super high-quality materials--from the stunning stone garden walls to the river jack stones laid along the house and used as accents elsewhere. We had such confidence in him and his team that we ultimately expanded the project to the other three sides of our house, replacing several weedy, hard-to-maintain strips of land with low-maintenance gravel patios and walkways--including beautiful stepping stones that make it easy (and fun!) to walk there. Eric's crew was just as friendly and outstanding as before, and over the course of three full work days, I got to know each talented member, including his dad Reggie (always so helpful and kind), Carlos, Jose, Chris, and Walter. They were true artists with the stone wall, making precise measurements and cuts to create smooth curves, and in all their choices they made sure to direct the flow of water away from the foundation. They even cleaned up the yard impeccably. Eric and his crew made the whole experience an absolute pleasure, and at the same time turned our landscaping dreams into reality. We can't wait to have them back for the planting phase!
