"We highly recommend SLG Masonry Construction -- the work was excellent and Santiago was a pleasure to work with. We hired SLG to reset the stones in a 200-square-foot patio and to repair a stone walkway with several steps at our house in northwest DC. The patio was reset with a minimal slope to carry water away from our house, and the crew's new arrangement is both attractive and fits with the original style of the patio and walkway. When SLG discovered that the patio was missing a necessary concrete pad, Santiago was able to get a concrete mixer to our house within 24 hours to pour the concrete with a reasonable adjustment to our original cost and contract. SLG had great communication with us from beginning to end, cleaned up the work site every day, and even made a special trip to our house to protect the patio from an unexpected rainstorm!"

If you attempt to use any other kind of bricks, it’s likely that this material will crack from such high heat exposure in the best case—and potentially explode and cause serious harm in the worst case.
