"Sydney and the rest of the crew were great to work with and did a great job. We had custom shelving installed in two closets with bifold doors installed on one of them. Other closet companies said they couldn’t do the closets exactly like we wanted and also said they wouldn’t put on a door. Sydney was 100% on board with our vision. He worked with us in terms of our budget and was very responsive throughout. The crew did a great job with the custom cuts, installation, and clean up. And they were fast and efficient, too."

"I think I could have found someone to do it a little more cheaply, for example maybe if I'd sought out a handyman who works alone on smaller jobs, but there is something to be said for peace of mind. I'd worked with Adam Contracting before, and they were as professional and competent as I remembered. They helped us come up with a better way to use the space (shelves big enough to hold all of our photo albums and board games, with bi-fold doors), and we're much happier with that space now.

"Steve and his crew -- Shawn and Bruce -- did an exceptional job remodeling my kitchen. I had my original 1994 oak cabinets and builder-grade floor/countertops/sink replaced with quartz counters and porcelain tile floor and the cabinets were refaced with new color and doors. "Thomas M was an excellent technician and did great work fixing all the basement windows around the house. These windows are difficult to find a replacement but he was able to repair and repaint them. The other technician was Pablo He worked on caulking all the windows around the house and he did some filling work on the garage sliding doors You did a good job, but Pablo left his trash around and didn’t pick up after himself so Thomas M and I did that on the third day. It took three days total, but it was two men for two days and one man for a 3/4 of a day actually. Although I’ll probably get charged for a full day, since it went past noon. The labor portion is the most expensive and a little higher than I initially anticipated. So, I was hoping for a quicker turnaround, but overall quality work was completed. I would highly recommend Thomas M as a technician to do future work. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and does a great job. I would hire again but include more details in the contract language."

"The work was originally scheduled for Friday; however, Mr. Vazquez texted me early that morning to let me know that he would not be arriving at 8:00 as scheduled due to the rain. He said he could come later that day or Monday or Tuesday of the next week. I return texted that later Friday or Monday would work for me. When he didn't show up on Friday, I assumed he'd come on Monday but I wasn't 100% sure. Of course, I could have followed up myself. However, no worries. Rigo showed up early Monday and got right to work. I am very pleased with his skills, work ethic, and sharp eye to go above and beyond. He started inside on the kitchen ceiling but moved back and forth between the inside work and outside work. Letting the ceiling applications dry, while he worked outside. Efficient! Rigo also noticed my (ahem) less than professional spackling work in the kitchen over some screws and chips in the wall. He went ahead and fixed those up too. So much nicer! Rigo also pointed out that the garage wood had rotted because no flashing had been installed at the top. He ASKED if I wanted him to add that and asked if I wanted wood or that wood-alike that doesn't rot. Seems like small potatoes but I've certainly had others who did work and did not give me any info or options. Much appreciated. After he'd completed the outside work, Rigo borrowed a broom to sweep up. The kitchen was also quite clean. Obviously, I still need to do a good sweep, but it is much cleaner than I'd anticipated.
All in all, a job well done. Add in the Angie's List discount and I even give them an A on pricing.  This is the 4th or 5th company I contacted to fix the garage trim and the first who showed up. I thought I was jinxed. I've begun my list for spring - interior cracks in the stairwell and the trim around the basement windows. I will be hiring Vazquez and Son again.

"We were about to scrap our project after the first contractor Beltway Builders came out for an estimate. The price they quoted was so high we were going to forgoe this project and spend the money elsewhere. The 7th state builders came out and their representative Dan was knowledgeable, professional and worked with me to come up with a design we loved and met our budget which was half the price quoted by Beltway Builders. It really felt like he cared more about our satisfaction than getting as much money as he could from us."
