Ted from Johnson’s worked with me to have my piano moved into their climate-controlled storage for a week during the installation. My house has a side entrance which made the move pretty challenging, but the excellent crews who moved the piano out and back in were very creative in accommodating the challenge with the front door and they took great care not to damage my railings on the stoop. I highly recommend Johnson’s Piano Moving!"

"The movers wrapped furniture, padded entrance door, protected floors and moved heavy items very carefully up to 2nd story rooms with no damage to any items. Jeff, the owner, was very professional with good follow up and pricing. Movers arrived early within time frame given. We where able to purchase tape and extra moving supplies directly from them as needed. The actual move time using 2 men was 3hrs. We would definitely use this moving company again should need arise."

"I couldnâ t be happier with the local moving services provided by American Relocation. I have moved 6 times over the past 7 years spanning 4 different states, and this was BY FAR my best experience. The three men that came were on time, professional, and they were transparent about all costs. I noticed some of the reviews mention the added costs of tape, boxes, and packaging certain items, but in my experience, this is typical of a moving company. They were also the cheapest quote of 4 comparable local movers that I contacted, so the lower hourly price offsets the extra costs anyway. The alternatives are to 1) buy your own tape, bubble wrap, and have extra boxes for them to use; or 2) hire a few guys with a low hourly rate and accept that your things will not be taken care of properly. With each moving company that I have used, the men arrive and work hard, but they usually tire out getting to the new location. I have had movers decide to unload everything to one room and call it a day, drop things, and carelessly bang furniture moving up and down the stairs. The point person for the three men, George, was phenomenal in directing the crew. They wrapped all furniture with total care and communicated very well with each other when moving stuff to/from the truck. We just moved to our forever home, but I would use them again without hesitation!!"

"I recently had the pleasure of using 495 Movers for a local move. They were the most professional, most responsive, and most expeditious moving company with whom I have workedâ and I have moved several times in the last 20 years. We did a FaceTime call to go over the particulars of the move, which was very safe and efficient given the spike in Covid. We received a bid very comparable to other movers, however the 495 Movers bid included tape, paper, moving boxes, and other necessities. The day of the move, Santos called a half hour before the teamâ s arrival. His team worked diligently and efficiently, showing the utmost care for all our valuables. The team of workers was very pleasant and professional. They packed and boxed a large townhouse within minutes of Santosâ s initial estimate. When they arrived at the new location, the team worked very quickly to move all our furniture into placeâ without a scratch to anything.
