"The kind of service we received from Dave's Hauling (along with Cornelle, DJ & Kyle) is one of the main reasons I will alway stay with Angie's List.  They should teach how to teach customer service to other firms. 
We had old tube tv's, beat-up chairs, unused office furniture, 50 pound bag of cement that had gotten wet, exercise equipment, car battery, etc, etc, on 2 floors that needed to be removed from our house--one of these days.  We suddenly realized the one of these days had to be now.  So I went on a search for someone to haul (through Angie's List of course) .  I called several other companies, but never got the kind of response I got from Dave's.  They all made feel like they were doing me a favor or that my questions were irksome.  Dave responded to my questions clearly and concisely and quoted a very reasonble price.  When we were attempting to set up a date (my fault for changing schedules), they stayed in touch by both phone and email.  On the day, they found that their previous job was running a little long and called in a timely manner to make sure their slightly later arrival was convenient for me--believe me that was a first.
When they arrived they went immediately to work.  In fact, we were barely able to keep up with them--they finished each room so quickly!!  They even shifted some furniture around for us--this chair to that room, that bookcase to another. They even took a few containers down from your garage shelves!!  All of that and they were finished in about 40 minutes!! The entire time they were there, they asked is there anything else you need help with, what else can we do?  They were fantastic!!  I've used other companies for this kind of this in the past and will never use anyone but Dave's.  As matter of fact, because of them, we've decided to do some major downsizing.  Dave, see you in the new year!!

"Marc Burkett-roof technician - arrived on site punctionally with all needed equipment - ladders etc in good safe working condition.  He was very helpful in advising where additional insulation would be of benefit in the attic and in recommending the benefits of an additional size for the upper rain gutters to better handle rain from the front roof.  He also advised on the condition of the roof surface noting several extraneous staples, and a couple of popped roof nails.
Marc was safety conscious but very efficient in performing the service.  All extraneous material from the roof gutter cleanup was collected and bagged for removal.  This roof gutter tune-up service was exactly what I was looking for along with the timeliness in getting it done.  Also, the main office called several days before to verify the service date.

"I had a large executive desk in my second floor office and two large air conditioners in my basement that I needed to have removed. I called several companies and had to leave messages every time and the people I finally spoke with did not impress me at all. When I called Mr. Booth he answered the phone right away and when I explained my situation and what I needed to have done he gave me a reasonable range of prices depending mostly on the difficulty of moving my desk from my second floor office to the first floor and out to his truck. "Aside from the price, which I found a tad high, I am completely satisfied with the services provided by GarageTek and am thrilled with my new storage system.  The sales rep, Peter, responded promptly to my inquiry and walked me through the GarageTek products and storage system after he had first checked out the garage.  He had good recommendations on which features offered the most value for the money, and also explained in detail the installation process and the services the company provided during the installation, such as free removal of any unwanted items and demolition of the old, bulky built-in work bench.  Peter then created a computer design of my system and gave me an itemized bill.  We agreed on a date for installation, which I later rescheduled easily.  On the day of installation, the two installation guys arrived promptly at 9 am and we reviewed their plan of attack and went over which items were staying and which were to be hauled away.  By 3pm, they were finished and the garage was cleared of any debris or equipment.  The crew chief went over the new storage system with me in detail and patiently explained how to move shelves or hooks or other components, and also pointed out one item that he could not install due to a faulty bracket.  He showed me how the storage rack should fit on the bracket but also showed how this particular bracket was faulty, and promised a new bracket would be delivered within a day or two.  The men then loaded up the truck with the items to be hauled away, and I was left with a garage that feels and looks terrific, despite being 40 years old.  I commend GarageTek on a well designed, quality product and excellent customer service.  The replacement bracket was delivered the next day.
