"Punctual, professional, and high quality product based upon comparison. The estimator and a competitor overlapped when I was getting quotes and he was perfectly professional, acknowledged that he knew the competitor company. As he was leaving he shook my hand and said he hoped he could earn my business. Overall very impressed, although the project exceeds my budget at this time (I had underestimated the cost). I'll look to them when I'm ready--their prices matched the quality and the door was significantly less than the competitor's.

"EJALE did a complete roof and gutter installation. The crew was professional. The job was done in a timely manner and all debris were cleaned up and discarded appropriately. They communicated with me throughout the process of repairs. I am so very please with their work. The price was a very good price. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends."

"I'd used this vendor before to replace my sidewalk and repair (using Ardex) concrete crumbling of an exterior back step.  As they did a good job, this seemed a safe choice.  While they did a good job on this as well, it took forever to get on the schedule.  Although I paid the initial deposit on 3/29, the work wasn't perfomed until 5/20, and only then because I made an issue of it.  It rained torrentially in April and May so crews were available for indoor work.  The problem seemed to be that I needed to be home and I needed two days notice for my employer.  These guys normally work when the owner is absent.  Although Legacy proposed that I essentially "leave a key under the mat" to provide increased flexibility, I didn't really feel comfortable with that.  While I believe that Legacy is trustworthy, the contractor couldn't be responsible for things that occurred once they left the property.  In any case, the repair solved the problem, though the actual work took about two hours (vs. the four in the original estimate). "

"Very well done project master bath expansion consisting of complex air tub/shower installation and extensive tiling. Marble tile installation was strong point - over a year of heavy use and no cracks anywhere. Contractor was responsive even when work slowed an called/came back personally to touch up few minor areas in dry wall several months after work was completed."

Glass Block questions, answered by experts

Heavy glass tends to be more expensive than thin glass because it is stronger and more durable. In most cases, ¼-inch-thick glass is ideal for mirrors, and ⅛-inch-thick glass is ideal for residential windows. Heavier glass isn’t always necessary, and can be more challenging to hang or install. Work with a local window installation pro for replacement or new construction windows.

Luckily, glass block windows need minimal maintenance. Other than regular cleaning, the only maintenance involved in having a glass block window is inspecting for cracks every year and applying sealer to the mortar joints if the blocks are set in masonry mortar. Glass block windows hold up well against wind and moisture better than traditional windows and are not prone to rot.

Glass block windows come in various patterns and styles that offer privacy and unique aesthetics. Frosted or textured glass diffuses light and enhances privacy. Wave-pattern glass blocks imitate ocean waves with flowing lines. Ice-glass blocks resemble cracked ice. Fluted glass blocks feature parallel vertical grooves, adding texture and depth. Clear glass blocks, similar to glass Coke bottles, offer transparency with some distortion and may have smooth surfaces or subtle textures, adding visual interest.

Yes, professionals can install decorative or colored glass block patterns for a unique look.

Regular cleaning with non-abrasive cleaners helps prevent buildup and maintains clarity.
