The CTC dog trainers are professionals with a passion, and they want to help you. Offering basic to advanced obedience, sport dog training, service dog training (peanut allergies, and diabetic alert dogs), and behavioral reconditioning when necessary. Please visit our website: www.thectc.com

"Amazing Abilities The Canine Training Center (CTC), headed by Andrew Wildesen, is truly an amazing service! From beginning to end, Andrew's years of experience and dedication to 'painting the picture' for your dog is simply amazing! CTC, wisely, does not focus on just the dog... they focus on the entire family as participants in the successful training of the dog! So many times before we thought it was the dog's fault when misbehaving. Then we learned that it isn't just the dog that needs to be trained... it is the owner(s) as well! That is where CTC taught us to 'paint the picture' for the dog... be consistent and timely when training and boy did that make the world of difference! Upon entry into the In Kennel Training, our dog (Socks) was a bundle of excitement anytime anybody came to the door. She wanted to run up the landing and sniff, sniff, sniff, jump!! Some thought it cute, but my wife and I did not. With our new baby on the way, we new we had to get Socks under control! After the In Kennel Training, it was night and day! Socks was perfectly in line with our commands and is happier now that we (K9 & Humans) are on the same page, painting the same picture! Funny enough, it wasn't just the problems with people at the door that were resolved due to the training, Socks now heels, sits, and downs perfectly! I HIGHLY recommend The Canine Training Center!"

"Richard was able to fix our invisible fence and ensure that it was working properly. Also inspected our dog's collar and adjusted the settings. We have used this company twice and will use them again!"

the Village Carpenter is Family owned and operated business started by my Grandfather when he retired from the steel mill in 1961. I started "in tow" with my Grandfather and Great Grandfather instilling old school craftsmanship and hard core work ethic into a profession they noted, "will always be good for the Family." When Clients call the Village Carpenter, they get me, Mark Letersky from start to finish on every project, as well as an immediate history of a way of doing business on a level where everyone is your Neighbor and they appreciate quality work at a fair price. We like and appreciate our Clients, so if you are just looking for cheap, inexperienced and unskilled labor, we ARE NOT who you are looking for your projects. We do honest work for reasonable compensation. Whether you need all of those little tasks on the "Honey Do" list done and over with, or an extension built on your home, the Village Carpenter offers a reasonably priced solution, great communication (cell, text, email) and all within a reasonable time frame. As always, Have a great day! Mark

"Ghosted me and my client. Mark was hired by the sellers of the home my client was purchasing. He apparently had been the sellers trusted contractor for their time owning the home. The sellers hired him to complete a punch list of repair items. When we got to my clients final walk through, there were a handful of items that were not complete. We were assured that Mark was a reliable contact and for my client to reach out to him to make sure everything was taken care of post settlement. What a mistake. For months, my client and I tried to reach him. We did hear back once to coordinate a time, but once responded, nothing again. These were not groundbreaking repairs, so perhaps they weren’t worth his time, but the lack of communication has been very frustrating. I deal with contractors all the time and understand how some you need to chase down more than others, but definitely would not recommend Mark to clients of mine in fear of a similar experience."

"It took a few iterations to get the contract written to my satisfaction. Their wording was very sparse and left the door open for potential misunderstandings. In the end, I ended up handwriting the details myself onto their contract document. They never told me that the entire job would be done by another contractor who they hired as a sub. In the end, the sub did the work properly and to my satisfaction. But my advice to them is to write more detailed contracts and let the customers know exactly who will be performing the work."

This is a private business. I have no employees and work strictly by myself. I don't do any subletting of work and work only on one job at a time. All jobs will be paid by cash or check.

We are a long established dealer of Invisible Fence Brand Pet Fences. We have over 11,000 customers in our dealership area. We have multiple service trucks and technicians to provide high quality and fast service. We are the largest dealer in Maryland. Additional phone number - (410) 721-7799.

"Couldn't be happier having my 2 large dogs contained. Nicole really helpful in explaining options - not pushy, just fun and informative. Rick VanBlargan installed the fence and trained me and the dogs. Super helpful and not condescending concerning my lack of technical understanding or my lack of dog training abilities. I am really pleased."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Staining a fence is less expensive than painting a fence due to the cost of materials and the longevity of the finish. Stain not only lasts longer than paint without chipping or peeling, but you also won’t have to put in the extra time and cost to prime the surface first.

When comparing them side by side, horizontal fences cost more than vertical fences but they do tend to be more durable. Since the majority of fences feature vertical pickets, a horizontal fence offers a more distinct look. On the other hand, horizontal fences may not always make the best privacy fences since the rails could have slight gaps.

Most adult chickens can't fit through the large openings in a hog wire fence. However, young chicks or small breeds of chickens could potentially squeeze through a hog wire fence. To prevent this, consider adding extra reinforcements such as chicken wire fencing, mesh, or hardware cloth.

You can keep a dog from digging under a fence by filling existing holes in your yard, installing a wire to your fence bottom, burying your fence bottom, making a designated digging spot, and removing visual stimuli. You can also dissuade your dog from wanting to dig under your fence and escape by scheduling more one-on-one playtime and ensuring they are getting enough exercise to keep them stimulated.

It is almost always necessary to hire a land surveyor near you to ensure your fence sits on the right side of the property line. Mistaking the shape of your property can lead to fines and costly changes if you have to move or adjust the privacy fence—not to mention some surly looks from your neighbor. We recommend jumpstarting your fence planning in the spring to ensure there is plenty of time to map out your plan before construction season.
