"Finally! When friends ask if I know of a reliable, honest, plumber at reasonable cost, I have found one to give as a referral in Water Field, LLC. Tes arrived on-time and assessed what was needed to correct my pipe leak problem in short order. While waiting for his repair work on the leaky pipe to cool, Tes offered to check all the other fixtures in my home to ensure everything was in order. When I mentioned one of my toilets was not properly anchored to the floor, an annoyance to me for quite some time, he fixed it at minimal cost. Water Field, LLC is now officially my go-to plumber. "Called Clayton at Aqueduct about mid-morning. At first call went to his VM and I hung up to try later. Clayton called my number back within minutes. I explained my toilet drain issues. He said he could be out about 3-5 same day. He asked if I could text my info to his cell phone number. Clayton texted me about 2:30 that he was on his way. He cleared drain from the cleanout for the MB toilet to pipe feeding main to septic. I realized main hall bath was also clogged. We have someone that uses way too much toilet paper and often! He was able to clear that drain. I would definitely use Clayton's Aqueduct Plumbing services in the future. He is professional, courteous and lets you know exactly when he's coming."

Customers say: Quick response

"Supper job, this was a difficult job. I did not know what was wrong with the toilet clog, it flooded out two floors over 7000.00. I first called Roto Rooter the fix it for two days. We were referred to Monster Plumbing and he came fixed it and told me if I had any more problems to call him again. Two later again toilet clogged. He came out with a scope and found some type of wiring that the builders dropped in during our rebuild after a fire. Pulled it out and what a relief super job!!! He was very assertive that he would find the problem. GREAT JOB!!!"

Toilets questions, answered by experts

The main causes for a leaky toilet flapper include wear and tear or a broken or incorrectly installed toilet flapper chain. If your toilet flapper is torn or deteriorated, it can’t provide a proper seal to keep water from running. Meanwhile, a chain that has come loose, was moved, or just wasn’t installed right can prevent your flapper from fully closing.

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

You’ll likely pay between $300 and $450 to unclog your toilet with Roto-Rooter. However, the price could change depending on if the clog has caused a lot of damage, which your plumbing pro will want to inspect during your service appointment. Keep in mind that you won’t get a quote from Roto-Rooter over the phone. They have to send a pro out for an in-person cost estimate. You can also attempt to snake your own clog for a lot less, and simple drain snakes cost no more than $50.

Yes, you can have a toilet without a septic tank. However, it will have to be a composting toilet. Composting toilets work similarly to aerobic septic systems in that the waste, which sits in a separate compartment below the toilet itself, is slowly broken down by aerobic bacteria. These toilets typically have a vent to get rid of harmful gasses with a fan, which requires a battery. You will have to dispose of waste in the toilet manually every three weeks to every three months, depending on how many people are using the toilet.

While you might think that phantom flushes are simply eerie, they are bad for your toilet (and wallet). These flushes indicate a leak somewhere in the toilet system that needs repairing. These leaks can cause damage to your walls, flooring, and even your plumbing system. While one random flush every now and then might not seem like a big deal, leaving it unattended can lead to bigger problems.
