"Project was to design and install a closet system for a large reach in closet. Estimator arrived on time, helped to design the closet and provided all the needed information. Installer was excellent and the closet looks beautiful. We are very pleased with all the services. David"

"Ruth and her crew were great. They arrived on time and were very efficient in how they tackled the house. They did have to go a little over the time we had, but they were sure to discuss this with us first. They took care of floors, surfaces, hand cleaned a few dishes we had out, and even cleaned the oven and under the cooktop. We liked Ruth's services so much that we asked her to regularly come and clean and we have been happy with her ever since."

"I’ve been searching for a reliable house cleaner for a while. Most have fell short of what I expected whether that be the overall cleanliness of the house when done, or just simply showing up on time. Boss Momma Cleaning has been a breath of fresh air! Sam is great and does a very nice job when it comes to keeping our home clean! I use her services every 2 weeks and the home is always in great shape because of this. She works at a fast pace and is able to tackle the job in a timely manner. (Other cleaners were taking a full day and sometimes coming back the next day to finish!). She pays attention to small details which, not just the overall picture. 10/10 would recommend Boss Momma Cleaning for your home cleaning needs."

"I get my home cleaned once every 2 weeks and I am quite comfortable with working with this company. They do a really good job with cleaning my home. They don’t mind spending a little extra time working with me when certain unforeseen things may arise, and they send me reminders a day before if there are any change of plans. They are very professional and I have had no problems working with them."

"Hector and his crew did a fine job powerwashing and removing the dirty northside stains on our roof, including a portion that was metal. They also powerwashed our back porch and our chicken coop roof (metal) and its cedar siding; they all look sooooo much better! Definitely plan to use them again on more projects in the future. Prices were reasonable and service was timely and professional."

Garage Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

If you take caution around fragile garage parts, thawing methods shouldn’t cause problems. Avoid using direct sources of heat too close to the garage door, especially rubber parts.

Another spot to avoid heating is the garage door spring. This powerful metal spring can become very cold in winter. Applying heat to a cold spring increases the chances it could break.

There are three ways to open the garage door when the power is out. One is to invest in a solar panel and battery system or generator backup power. Another method is to use the quick-release key to disconnect the garage door from the garage door opener. You can also use the key to your house to wait out the power outage and reset the garage door opener once the power returns.

If your garage door key is inside your home and you don’t have a spare key on hand to access your entry points, then call a locksmith.

Adequate storage, workspaces, and energy-efficient systems are key considerations.

We recommend hiring a garage door professional to install a garage door opener for you. Garage door openers aren’t terribly complex, but setting them up properly, setting the lift and drop speed, and installing sensors that work correctly can take a few hours for a DIYer. The cost to install a garage door opener is around $400, and it will save you a lot of time and frustration. Garage professionals have the skills and equipment necessary to work with potentially dangerous garage door components, like springs.

The best method for painting a garage door depends on the door's design and the finish you want to achieve. For the most professional-looking finish, especially on doors with panels or intricate details, a paint sprayer is an excellent choice. It can easily get into hard-to-reach places and provide a smooth, even coat.

If you don't have a sprayer, or if your door is flat, a combination of a roller and a brush is the most effective approach. Use a roller for the large, flat sections to cover the area quickly and efficiently. For the best results, experts recommend a roller with a nap between ⅜ and ¾ inches thick; natural fibers can also help ensure an even coat.

A brush is essential for handling the finer details. Use it to paint grooves, angles, small panels, and the edges of the door where you need more control.

Regardless of the tools you use, it's a good idea to step back after the main application to review your work and use a detail brush to touch up any missed spots.
