"People don’t plan to have their water pipe burst. Seeing as it was -10 degrees today it’s no surprise ours did, despite every effort to make sure the water in the pipes were moving. I was at a doctors appt and walked in to water bursting out of the kitchen ceiling in buckets! My mother was looking where to turn off the main water with no success. They went right to work, cutting open the drywall surrounding the bursted pipe. Took pictures for me so I could send it to my insurance company and fixed it in no time. They were perfect gentlemen. It didn’t take long to see how kind, down to earth, professional and mindful of my concerns. Ya know how uncomfortable it can be not knowing who is coming in your home. Not only did they fix the reason for which they came, they even fixed a few issues we had in our upstairs bathroom. They did so professionally and efficiently. "We received quotes from four companies - Drainage & Erosion Solutions' pricing was fair and the quality of their work & our experience with them seemed too good to be true. So much so that I've waited for nine months to post a review to be sure the drains they installed addressed the flooding issue. The project included installing five catch basin drains, over 70 feet of 4 inch drain pipe and another 70 feet of six inch drain pipes as well as replanting flower beds, regarding several areas, and installing river rock in two of the drainage beds. The drains have performed exceptionally well. What used to be a river forming on one side of our house, now quickly drains into five catch basin drains they installed. "NV's rep, Bruce Finley, was very patient. He initially bid with the standard black corrugated plastic pipe. When I told him that I wanted to instead use white PVC because it would not crush, he pointed out that it would cost more and he didn't think it was worth the extra money, but if that's what I wanted he would modify the estimate, which he did. I had two other estimates from other well-known companies, which had slightly different approaches that cost more money. After thinking about what I should do (and soliciting opinions from friends) for a year, I chose NV. They saved money by having the pipe drain to a flower bed in the side yard, instead of digging all the way to the street, which would have ruined some of my trees and shrubs. The crew did a beautiful job - the back patio with the French drain around the perimeter looks great. We've had a few storms, although nothing horrendous, and so far so good with the drainage."
