"My house is a little wacky and the proposal was to include all of the crawl space and ceiling surface area. Sadly there was no way to know that a portion of both were inaccessible to insulate. Was hoping to fix issues with freezing pipes by insulating but that is the part they could not access. The scheduling and some staff on the phone is a little dry on the phone. The crew who came to do the job worked their butt off and were super nice. CJ, who drew our proposal, was very nice and knowledgeable. He warned me that his estimation might be a little off but the estimation of the Pepco energy saving percentage back ended up being way off after the energy audit. That made the job much more costly than predicted and I had not planned for that. He was willing to adjust the bill slightly but not significantly enough to really make a difference. Overall, it is going to make a huge difference in the comfort in the house and the crew was very professional."

They did a comprehensive audit and we discussed issues that could be remediated prioritized by the biggest bang for the buck and then they did the fixes we agreed upon. I always felt like I was dealing with an expert who had my best interests at heart - work that they could have done that they advised could be deferred. Ended up increasing the insulation in the attic which I'd known for years was a problem and sealing the ducts which has made a noticeable difference. "The team arrived slightly early to be well prepared to start the job on time. As they began they laid down protective barriers to keep the home clean. While in the attic they blew in the insulation with an even consistent barrier, ensuring that all locations with infrastructure were well covered. As they wrapped up the job, they cleaned behind them as they closed up the attic, removed the floor coverings and were on their way. The only way I can tell they were here is that the heat runs less in the winter and the air conditioning runs less in the summer.
