"Taurino did a fantastic job with my interior painting and expertly handled some external repairs and painting as well. Not only did he use his discount paint card to save me a lot of money, but his pride in workmanship is clear in the quality of the results. I would gladly hire him again."

"Our house is finished with a Drvit Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS). We needed a company to repair cracks and bulging in the exterior walls. We got several estimates - E.M.Texture was very competitive. What impressed us most was how patient and transparent Rob was. He explained what needed to be done and provided several alternatives depending on the scope of the work. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions. The crew was very prompt, professional and courteous. They cleaned the work area every evening. The finished product looks terrific. I can't over emphasize how terrific E.M. Texture was to work with. We highly recommend them."

"Well, this is a bit unusual. Apex contacted me about my job to paint backsplash tiles. A great guy told me I really needed a tub and tile glazer. So I contacted Oasis Tub andTile Reglazing LLC. 941-269-3984. What a fantastic Job. I was overwhelmed. At first I thought the price of 1600 was a little high but the care they took to tape off everything and create a flawless finish was so worth it, that I tippped much more."

"Had a great experience with Josh and Nathan! They were friendly, professional, and did really nice work. We had the exterior of our building painted, and they took their time making sure everything was prepped properly before they started instead of rushing through it. They kept me updated throughout the job, cleaned everything up when they were done, and the finished paint job came out exactly how I wanted. Super easy to work with and I?d definitely hire them again."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

It’s a good idea to sand your porch before painting. This will remove loose or chipped paint and debris, and give you a cleaner surface so that your new paint goes on smoothly. But if the existing surface is in good condition, it’s not necessary to sand your porch before you paint.

Using a wire brush, forcefully scrub the surface to remove paint from metal. You’ll want to remove any lingering rust, too. For larger areas with caked-on rust, you may need to use a wire brush drill attachment. If the paint still won’t budge, apply a chemical paint stripper to the area and scrape off the paint, after following the paint stripper’s instructions.

Clean and prime surfaces before repainting to ensure adhesion and durability.

When a window is painted shut, this means that paint has gotten into the cracks when window sashes or window frames were being painted. It’s pretty easy for this sort of thing to happen while painting, but sometimes homeowners will use paint to seal drafty windows, which will often cause them to get stuck shut.

Yes, but with caution. A floor grinder is intended to level and polish concrete, so it is a very powerful tool. To remove paint, the floor grinder should be set to 35 square feet per minute or less to minimize the pressure without the use of pocket weights. You might need to go over the surface two times to get any paint that has sunk into the concrete’s pores.
