"Alex did an amazing job. He provided great communication throughout the entire process, as he had to order a few parts for the chimney. He was very prompt both times he came to the house. He was very careful and clean while working in the house and on the roof. I will always use DMV Chimney Services for my chimney and fireplace needs. Alex cleaned my chimney and added a chimney cap. "They were great. They had a cancellation and came the next day to close our damper and cleaned the chimney at the same time and only charged us for the cleaning. Then they fit us in a week later to seal a crack at the chimney top. They gave us before and after pics of everything. "We called to have our chimneys inspected because we had a bat in our home. Tim inspected both chimneys and the roof. He removed the caps and installed stainless steel screens over the flue opening on both fireplaces to help prevent bat intrusion through the flue. He did an excellent job. During his inspection, Tim noticed a hole in the b-vent chimney. Tim installed a new b-vent chimney from the basement to the roof. He connected it to the water heater and the furnace. There was no damage to our drywall which he had explained was a possibility during installation. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the debris and removing the existing pipe. We would highly recommend Top Shelf Chimneys."
