"If you have a water softener or filtration project, I highly recommend Orbit Energy & Power. I had a very favorable experience with the company . Scott Cullin, the sales tech was very accommodating with scheduling our initial appointment. He was on time, asked about our project scope, performed his water tests and made a recommendation based on the findings. He was not high pressure at all. I advised that I was getting competitive proposals and it would be a few days before I made a decision. Orbit's equipment is the most efficient, seems to be the best quality, and quite frankly had the best warranties. The installation went well. The installer removed old equipment and installed the new softener and filtration kit. He was in and out within the 3 hour time window specified. He answered all the questions I had for him during the installation. Once everything was done and cleaned up, he went through the operation with me, explaining how everything worked and what things to keep an eye on. Very good experience. "The sales person was very friendly and took his time to explain exactly what we should expect. He showed us a video of why we were getting water in our basement and the process of installing a sump pump system. I cannot say this for the other sales people at other companies we interviewed. The day of the install the two men were 3 1/2 hours late due to being given the wrong location of our town. Who knew that there were 3 towns in PA with the same name. Once they arrived they were very respectful, polite and ready to do the job. They sectioned off work area with plastic in order to keep the dirt and dust from the rest of the house. They did their job and cleaned up well. They showed us how it would work when they were done. We feel they did a good job at what was needed. We would hire them again if needed.

"The job turned out to be a two day job, which we knew in advance and planned accordingly. Had to totally tear out the old tub and surrounding walls. Did run into some minor problems due to being an older house.John did everything he said he was going to do, even more. John was very conscientious in doing the work. He truly does do the work as if it was his own home, even brought the plumbing up to code. Answered any all questions I had with no problems. Will definitely hire them again. Should have done this sooner we are very pleased with everything. Great Job!"

"George was very professional when we first dealt with him and did a satisfactory job.  However, when we wanted him to do smaller jobs, he did not respond or set up dates to come and then did not show up nor did he call.  His father, who is the actual owner of George's Painting, came to our house for an estimate to have 3 closet shelves installed (the metal mesh type) for hwich he wanted $650.00.  We thought that was entirely too much as the material cost less than $100.  We looked for someone else off of Angie's list and got an excellent person who only charged $200 which was more reasonable and on top of that did an excellent job.    In addition we are having numerous other things done at reasonable prices.  Had I waited a bit longer, I could have gotten my house painted much cheaper as well.  George is overpriced and does not respond when you call or will he make an appointment with you and then not keep it.  I am glad I found someone else who is capable of doing what we want, is professional, does excellent work and his price is more reasonable.    I have already had work done by this other company and we are very satisfied.

"V & C was very courteous on the phone and in person.  They did an excellent job of making sure that everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction.  They arrived when they said they would and finished in a very timely.  They completed several minor repairs as well as removing  totally useless gutter covers I had installed many years ago.  I will happily hire them again!"

"We requested estimates from 2 companies, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Surfside Plumbing.  Benjamin Franklin responded punctually and gave us a written estimate.  We wanted to check prices so we called Surfside.  It took a couple of calls, but my husband finally spoke with the owner of Surfside.  He said it wasn't necessary to come out and look at the job and he quoted an hourly rate and an estimate of 1 to 3 hours to complete the job.  His estimate was considerably lower than Benjamin Franklin.  We told him we'd buy the sink and faucets and call to schedule an appointment.  Within a week we had both.  We called to schedule. 

The owner answered our call after several tries to reach him and said he would call back when reached his office.  No return call.  After a few days we finally called and spoke to the owner.  He said he would be out the next day.  He came out and suggested that the sink we purchased would not work well with our silestone counter top.  I agreed and we decided to buy a better quality sink.  Within a week we had the new sink.   Again we tried to schedule an appointment.  It took about a week to finally connect with the owner.  Our sink was finally installed.  The men that were sent to do the work did a great job.  And we saved a couple hundred dollars on installation.  Even considering the problems with scheduling, I think the owner tries to accommodate customers too much, we are very happy with the work that was done.

"Our technician, Dameyan Jackson, called the night before the day of service to let me know the time that he would be here to service our system. On Friday, he called to let me know that he was available to come earlier than scheduled, if I would like. He arrived shortly after the phone call, came in and quickly recognized that the pump had failed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with his service and look forward to him returning to install a new pump."
