"Murphy Family Electric is an awesome company with very competent technicians and reasonable rates. They make the whole process pretty straightforward. I had used them to get my Tesla charger in 2018 (Cost: $799 including material). I was so impressed with their work that when I had a complex electrical job - installing a new 120v outlet requiring a new wire from the circuit breaker - I did not get any quotes but just booked them. That job was done very professionally as well (Cost: $949). Fast forward to Mar 2025, my tesla charger had problems with over heating and intermittent power loss. I called Murphy Family Electric and they sent a technician the same day who came and adjusted/cleaned the connections and spent 30 mins fixing the problem. And to my surprise the company did not even charge me anything for this. So on top of everything else you can add absolutely fantastic customer service to their list of attributes."

"I have used this company for years and been very happy with their work. A tech and his helper recently came to replace a bath exhaust fan. They had to go up to the attic to complete the installation. After they left, I noticed that the helper had put his foot through the ceiling of the room next to the bathroom. I contacted the company and sent pictures. I was told that they did not pay for damage caused by their employees. The gentleman pointed out that ”the crack was not that bad anyway.“ (The crack was three feet long.) The bath exhaust fan works well, but I will not be using them in the future."

Zach helped with the engineering and provided options for install locations with minimal impact on the home or its appearance. Will who assisted with the post-install inspections and permitting process was available and worked around our schedules to make sure we got the certification to operate, as well as explained the process and expectations. The install crew was very professional and gave an explanation of what they would be doing and placed the supplies in a way to not impact our day-to-day. Tamika with operations was helpful with updates on the multiple stages of the project as well as any questions I had during the process. Again, the entire staff at this company was phenomenal with the professionalism and experience they provided during the process. The system has only been on a few days, it's exciting to see how well it works even with the cloudy weather.
