"Josh called 30 minutes before appointment, gave his name and asked about services requested. He arrived on time and his car was marked with company signage. We discussed the job needed, he gave me the quote and was able to do the work the same day which saved me from having to take another day off from work. (I originally scheduled for an estimate and thought I would have to take another day off for the installation). The job took less than a hour. He swept up after the job. It is best to use a dry lubricant, such as a Teflon-based option, for door locks. Unlike popular oil-based lubricants, dry lubricants leave a non-stick, water-repellent coating that does not attract dust, dirt, and other debris. Using an oil-based lubricant can cause these particles to build up inside the lock, making it difficult to operate or even damaging the internal mechanism. You can find dry lubricants, some of which are made specifically for locks, at most hardware stores.

Locksmiths recommend changing your locks once every seven years for the best security at your home. Locks can wear out over time, so you should inspect your locks regularly. A higher grade lock provides you with more cycles than those with a lower grade.
