"We used RPB Home Improvements to repair our existing front door frame and install a new storm door. They did a great job with the frame repair as well as the storm door install. They cleaned the work area upon completion and the pricing is affordable. I will definitely use them again for other home improvement projects in the future."

"We calle Handyman On Call for this job and they came out right away to give us an estimate that was literally half of what we were quoted by another company. I let them know that we needed the job done quickly and they were out two days after our deposit cleared. The job was done right, we are happy with the results and the service, and we would rehire most definitely!"

"first he showed up a day ahead of schedule. fortunately I was available. He added on more work than I wanted to get paid more. In addition, I never received my invoice, for which he promised to send by email.but I paid him for the work. I would not recommend Blue Waters."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

A pool heater is worth the expense, given that it can extend your swimming season by several months, depending on where you live. For many, adding a pool heater allows the pool to remain in service from May through mid-October. Even temperatures in the 40s and 50s are tolerable when the water in the pool is heated.

In combination with adequate filtering and water chemical balance, vacuuming will keep your pool from being overrun with algae. If your pool is experiencing algae growth, the same combination will get rid of it with a bit of patience. Heavy algae growth may require the use of an algaecide, and in some cases, you’ll want to vacuum the pool 24 to 48 hours after using algaecide to remove dead algae debris.

Whether your homeowners insurance covers a pool leak depends on your specific policy, so it's essential to check your policy documents before taking on any repairs. Typically, leaks caused by a covered event, such as a fallen tree branch or a fire, may be covered. However, leaks resulting from general wear and tear or poor maintenance are usually not. It is also a good practice to review your homeowners insurance policy before installing a pool to fully understand your personal liability and coverage.

While spools are much smaller than pools, some clever features still allow you to get your laps in. Some spools include directional jets to create a “current” you can use to swim laps in a smaller space. They also allow you to use your spool as a spa when you’re done swimming.

If you've decided to fill in or remove your pool, begin by researching local, reputable pool removal companies to take care of the job for you. There are a variety of companies and contractors that can handle the work. You can start by looking for demolition or construction companies. Also, some pool builders will handle fills and removals.
